Payment and Fees
1. You need to pay a deposit of GBP 200 to secure your room with the property. 2. This is refundable at the end of the tenancy period less any deductions and pending charges.
For AY 23-24 (STLs): You will need to pay for your entire stay at the time of booking or prior to move-in. The property accepts: 1. Payment in full. 2. Payment in instalments- 3 instalments.
Credit card, Debit card & Bank transfer.
1. The property requires you to have a valid UK Guarantor if you wish to pay in installments. 2. The property does not accept international guarantors. 3. If you are unable to provide your own UK Guarantor, the property recommends the service of Housing Hand.

Is your accommodation located close to universities and public transportation?
All of their student accommodation in Middlesbrough is located within a 10 minute walk of the Teesside University campus. However their halls of residence are located right on campus.

All of their flats and houses come with their own laundry facilities as they are aware of the frustration students feel when one laundry facility is shared in a full building.
Are guests allowed to stay overnight?
Yes, of course! Visitors are allowed, they just ask that you respect your housemates and make sure that they are aware too.
Do you offer parking facilities?
Most of their properties have free on street parking.

Do you accept international students?
Yes, they do. They offer accommodation services to both home and international undergraduates and postgraduate students in Middlesbrough.
What type of accommodation do you provide?
They offer a range of student accommodation options to fit all requirements. These include 2-7 bed houses/apartments with both shared bathroom and ensuite options.
Do you accept couples?
They can accept couples but this is on a case by case/property suitability basis.
Do you accept tenants with children?
No, they do not accept children below the age of 18 years old.
Do I require a guarantor?
No, they do not expect you to have a guarantor. Instead, they charge a deposit which will be returned at the end of your tenancy.
How do I pay my rent?
Depending on what is most convenient, you have a variety of options to pay your rent. Rents can be paid through international transfer services like Flywire and BACS if you do not have a UK bank account. If you wish to open a UK bank account while you are visiting the UK, they also advise payments through direct debit.
Can I see the property before signing my contract?
Yes, they offer virtual viewing for all of their properties. This allows you to get an understanding of the layout and features prior to you signing any agreement.
Can I rent for a group?
Yes, they accept both individual and group letting enquiries or bookings.
When do I make my first payment?
Your deposit will be required at the first point of signing the contract. The first rent payment will then need to be taken prior to your arrival.

To book an accommodation as an international student, the following documents will required 1) Passport proving your right to study in the UK 2) Right to rent sharecode 3) Proof of student status.
Do I have to be part of a group to book?
No, you can be an enquiry of any size and we will find you the student accommodation that best suits you.
