Room allocation

Students can indicate specific room number or location preferences during the booking process, and the Amber team will accommodate these preferences wherever possible, based on availability.

Check in guide

Approximately 2–4 weeks prior to the scheduled move-in date, students will receive check-in instructions via email. This communication will include the steps required to select a check-in date and time slot, complete necessary documentation, and settle any outstanding payments prior to arrival.In case of any questions or queries, please feel free to contact the Amber team, and our team will assist to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Renewal policy

Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Early check in policy

Early check-in requests can be shared in advance with the Amber team. Our team will do a feasibility check to facilitate early check-in requests based on room readiness and availability. Additional charges may apply where applicable.

Payment and Fees

Pay In Instalment

Monthly contract: The monthly contract refers to a type of contract where full months are charged. In this case, if the guest moves into a place on a date other than the first day of the month, he will still be charged for the entire month and not just for the nights he booked. This directly impacts the contract start date, which will always be the first day of the month.

Security Deposit

The type of deposit applicable is selected by the landlord. A Security Deposit refers to the amount you have to pay directly to your landlord on the day of your move-in to cover for any potential damages that may occur during your stay. The landlord may also keep the Security Deposit if you leave earlier than agreed. If no damages occur and you leave on the agreed move-out date, your deposit will be refunded. On the day you move in, you’ll have to pay the landlord. The Booking/Security deposit varies on the basis of room type. Please check the tenancies for more information about the same.

Guarantor Requirement

The property does not require any guarantor.

Additional Fees

1. For dual occupancy, tenants need to pay an additional 50 GBP along with the regular rent. 2. The landlord charges an additional fee for each extra guest in this place. This value is added on top of the monthly rent. It is required to add the total number of guests that are booking this place so that the landlord can make the necessary arrangements before the move-in. Extra per tenant: £298 / month The monthly rent increases by this amount per extra tenant added.

You should book well in advance to avoid disappointment. We do accept late bookings, however, this is based on availability which may be limited. Most accommodations have great offers which can be availed by early booking, we suggest booking your ideal accommodation as soon as possible!

Can I make group bookings?
