
The British Council has announced new postgraduate scholarships for Indian students and English teachers
The British Council has set forth a new set of postgraduate study abroad scholarships for the year 2022-23 (PG) UK scholarships for Indians in various fields of study.
In collaboration with the UK government's GREAT Britain Campaign and collaboration with UK universities, the council announced 20 GREAT scholarships to study abroad for Indian students at 16 UK universities in subjects such as business, finance, humanities, psychology, entrepreneurship, design, and marketing, human resources, and music.
Additionally, there are 7 GREAT British Council Scholarships Indian students especially for Justice and Law available for Indian students interested in studying human rights, criminal justice, or commercial law in the UK.
Each scholarship is worth £10,000 and is intended to cover tuition for a one-year postgraduate course.

Furthermore, the British Council has announced six fully-funded scholarships for Indian English teachers to study postgraduate English language teaching at two UK universities. English teachers working in or with primary or secondary government schools in India are eligible for this opportunity.
Three of the six scholarships are for a face-to-face/full-time MA programme at the University of Leeds. The other three scholarships are for the University of Stirling's online/part-time MSc programme, including a two-week, fully-funded residential visit to the university.
