If the issue persists, contact the Maintenance Department.

What is the purpose of the security or damage deposit, and what are the conditions regarding its refund at the end of the lease?

Your security or damage deposit is used to ensure that the apartment remains in good condition. This sum can be used to cover damage, abuse, excess cleaning, and other issues. It cannot be used to pay the last month’s rent. The damage deposit will be refunded within 30 days of lease expiration, in one check per apartment, as stated in your joint lease. It is the residents’ responsibility to split the refund among roommates.

What should I check if I do not have hot water in my apartment, and what steps should I take before contacting the Maintenance Department?

If you don’t have hot water, make sure the circuit breaker for the water heater is switched to the “on” position before submitting a maintenance request. To reset a breaker, switch it OFF and then ON. If you still don’t have hot water, contact the Maintenance Department.

What is the process for signing a parking space agreement for residents, and how does the waiting list work if all parking spaces are leased?

Parking availability is first come, first served. Residents can sign a parking space agreement at lease signing. If all spaces are leased, a waiting list will be started.
