Halle an der Saale is extremely popular with students thanks to its young atmosphere, rich cultural scene and strong academic tradition. The city is also home to the Leopoldina, Germany’s National Academy of Sciences.
One of Germany’s oldest universities, Martin Luther University Halle Wittenberg, shapes student life in the city and attracts students from Germany and abroad.
The nearby Südpark with its small canal offers a relaxing green space after lectures, while supermarkets such as Netto and Kaufland are only a short walk away. The River Saale flows through the city with several islands and canals, giving Halle a relaxed and almost holiday like atmosphere.
Before moving in, a deposit of 2 months rent will be charged which you will get back after moving out and proper apartment handover.

The broadcasting fee, also known as the "GEZ-fee," must be paid by every tenant in Germany. It covers the cost of using public broadcasting.

If not all requirements for obtaining a student residence spot are met or if not all necessary documents/records have been submitted with the application during the booking process, your application will not be considered. They will not send you a notification.
By signing/finalizing the booking of a student residence spot, you confirm the accuracy of the information you have provided and the fulfillment of the requirements for the application or obtaining of a student residence spot.
They expressly point out that obtaining a student residence spot and signing a rental agreement based on false statements regarding the eligibility requirements may constitute a criminal offense and could be prosecuted. Additionally, they reserve the right to contest any rental agreement concluded with them and/or to terminate it extraordinarily without notice.
