Residential Agreement Cancellations:
Once a Residential Agreement (Agreement) has been signed, the student must comply with the terms and conditions of that Agreement. Whilst the terms of the Agreement vary between different Australian States, the student is required to pay the rental due for the term of the Agreement. If the original student wants to cancel their agreement with the property and they or you finds a replacement student to take over the balance of the Agreement, the original student will no longer be required to comply with the terms of the Agreement. This will typically incur a cancellation administration fee of between 1-2 weeks rent.
Students may also cancel an Agreement without charge as part of their No Visa, No Offer, No Pay option if they are:
unable to secure an Australian Visa
declined entry to their intended course of study in Australia.
The cancellation request must include supporting documents and be received prior to their lease commencement date.

After paying one weeks refundable rent to secure the reservation but before signing a residential agreement, student can cancel the reservation for a full refund.
If rental agreement is not signed within 14 days of making the reservation and paying one weeks refundable rent, Iglu can cancel the reservation for a full refund of the one weeks rent.
Payment Details
Booking Fees:
Holding deposit of one weeks rent has to be paid after your application is made. This will be treated as your first rent payment once your booking is confirmed and you move in.
Bond equal to 4 weeks rent is required to be paid at the time of signing the contract (this applies to all room types in Queensland).
Rent payments:
Rental fees are paid once per fortnight. The student needs to ensure that the rent is paid a minimum 2 weeks in advance at all times.
Mode of payment:
Pay using credit card (No credit card surcharge applied when paying holding deposits online, however all further credit card payments will have a 1.8% surcharge)
