England's transportation system can be one of the most efficient in the world. The city is cleverly connected to every key transportation system, and every University is within walking distance. Students can discover a wide range of transportation alternatives in this city, from the world-famous tram link to buses and cabs. The most affordable mode of transportation is undoubtedly cycling. Manchester is covered in bike lanes, especially in the student neighbourhoods.
1. Bus
This city's bus system operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with over 100 buses moving up and down the street. Students can ride buses from the City Centre that link to all national routes in England. Hundreds of local bus stops are located around the city to serve regional, national, and international travellers. The regular bus ticket is roughly £1- £1.20 each day. You can also purchase a 'Get Me There' travel pass, significantly reducing local transportation costs from your BPP student accommodation to anywhere in town.
2, Train
Piccadilly and Victoria are Manchester's main train stations. Additional smaller stations in the city centre, such as Manchester Oxford Road, are about a ten-minute walk from the campus's Oxford Road and Sackville Street sectors. There are various bus connections connecting stations, with some of them being free.
3. Tram
Manchester's Metrolink tram system frequently serves tram Altrincham, Eccles, Bury, and Rochdale. This service also helps the Trafford Centre and The Lowry. St Peter's Square is the station closest to the University; exit there and walk down Oxford Street, which becomes Oxford Road.
