Getting around is straightforward because the city has a reasonably well-developed public transit infrastructure. Students have access to buses, trains, and even bicycle rentals when travelling throughout the city, whether commuting to their university or elsewhere.
Public Transport: Sheffield railway station is less than a mile away, as is Sheffield Interchange, a bus station and National Express Coaches hub.
The Supertram, Sheffield's light rail tram network, passes east of the stadium. Granville Road/Sheffield College and Park Grange Croft are the closest stops. Both locations are 0.5 mile walking distance apart and can be utilised in any direction. The viaduct that connects the two stops also provides views of the ground. These stops are served by the Blue and Purple routes. Both paths lead to and from the city centre.
There are bus stops on Shoreham Street and Bramall Lane just outside the stadium. All buses from these points will travel to and from the city centre.
Cycling: The stadium is near Route 6 of the National Cycle Network, and it is surrounded by various cycle paths and lanes that connect to it. The Bramall Lane roundabout includes an underpass enabling quick access to and from the city centre for cyclists and pedestrians, while Bramall Lane itself has an on-road cycle lane that runs its length. Shorham Street has a cycling path, and St. Mary's Gate (A61 ring road) has a traffic-free cycle path. There are both secured and insecure bike parking options near the ground.
