There are numerous ways to navigate around Everton Liverpool. If your student accommodation is in Everton, you can easily get around on foot, by bicycle, or these days, by e-scooter. However, for out-of-town attractions and some more distant day trip destinations, you won't often need a car thanks to Everton’s extensive network of affordable, interconnected transportation options.
Train
One of the greatest ways to go to Liverpool is by rail. It has good connections to several other significant cities, including York, Manchester, and London. Additionally, you will typically arrive in the relatively opulent Liverpool Lime Street, one of the first railway stations ever built. For students residing in Everton in their student accommodation, trains are a convenient way to travel back and forth.
Bus
Buses are frequently used by locals since they connect to areas of the city that are not reachable by train. One of the greenest modes of transportation in Liverpool is via bus, and by the end of 2022, there will be a number of new hydrogen-powered buses operating in the city. Students can get around Everton while enjoying sightseeing if they take the bus.
Taxi
Taking a taxi can occasionally be the easiest method to get around the city, especially if you're travelling at night from one side of Liverpool to the other. You can either call a local taxi firm like One Call or ComCab, or you can hail a black cab on the street if their light is on and they are ready for hiring. The black cab rank is immediately outside Liverpool Lime Street station. Uber is available everywhere in the city. Students can directly hire a taxi near their student accommodation in Everton or call an Uber.
