Our 165 Corporation Street Coventry student apartments are just a short walk from Coventry University, and local bus service 18A stops just a small distance away and runs every 30 minutes directly to the Warwick University campus.

Study Inns Coventry student studios benefit from en-suite bathrooms and private kitchenettes, providing a great student housing environment. Our Coventry student housing centre also offers larger rooms for those who wish for a larger space to enjoy individually, or share with a friend or partner. At our 165 Corporation Street student accommodation centre, you can opt to select a deluxe, deluxe plus or superior Coventry student apartment.

Cancellation Policy

2.1 In respect of individual room bookings
  1. From 10 weeks before commencement of the Period of Licence, on payment of 500: -
    1. The Agreement can be cancelled by the Occupier giving Study Inn written notice of the cancellation.
    2. In these circumstances there will be a 50 administration fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier.
    3. In the circumstances where a fee of 500 or more is paid and the offer of accommodation is declined i.e. the tenant fails to manually or digitally sign a Licence Agreement, we will retain 100 from the deposit in lieu of administration charges.
  2. From 10 weeks before commencement of the Period of Licence, on all payments if paid 1st Installment or greater: -
    1. The Agreement can be cancelled by the Occupier giving Study Inn written notice of the cancellation.
    2. In these circumstances there will be a 250 administration fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier.
  3. Less than 10 weeks before commencement of the period of the Licence: -
    1. The Occupier will have no right to terminate the Agreement, unless a replacement Agreement can be found for the Accommodation.
    2. The Occupier is obligated to find the replacement Agreement.
    3. In circumstances where a Replacement Occupier IS NOT FOUND, the current Occupier will not be released from the current Agreement and will remain liable for the full contractual Occupation Fee
    4. In circumstances where a replacement Agreement IS FOUND for the Accommodation
      1. the current Occupier will be released from the Agreement with effect from the start date of the new Occupiers Agreement, upon payment of a 250 release fee which will be deducted from monies paid to Study Inn.
      2. the current Occupier will lose any entitlement to discount offered at the time of the booking and any refund due will be calculated on the basis of liability for the full Occupation Fee.
      3. the current Occupier agrees that Study Inn may employ the services of an Agent to find a Replacement Occupier. If the Replacement Occupier is found by an Agent, the current Occupier will be liable for commission due to the Agent and any refund due will be calculated in the basis of liability for the full Occupation Fee
      4. High value damages will be dealt with as described in the Residential regulations.
  4. During the period of the Licence Agreement:
    1. The current Occupier will have no right to terminate the Agreement, unless a Replacement Occupier can be found to take over the Agreement.
    2. The current Occupier is obliged to find the Replacement Occupier.
    3. In circumstances where a Replacement Occupier IS NOT FOUND, the current Occupier will not be released from the current Agreement and will remain liable for the full contractual Occupation Fee.
    4. In circumstances where a Replacement Occupier IS FOUND for the Agreement
      1. the current Occupier will be released from the Agreement with effect from the start date of the new Occupiers Agreement, upon payment of a 250 release fee which will be deducted from monies paid to Study Inn.
      2. the original Occupier will lose any entitlement to discount offered at the time of the booking and any refund due will be calculated on the basis of liability for the full Occupation Fee.
      3. the current Occupier agrees that Study Inn may employ the services of an Agent to find a Replacement Occupier. If the Replacement Occupier is found by an Agent, the current Occupier will be liable for commission due to the Agent and this will be deducted from any refund due.
      4. high value damages will be dealt with as described in the Residential regulations.
  5. Refunds: - A Fee of 20 will be added when refund made to international bank account.
3.1 In respect of any storage fee paid
  1. Applicable where storage is in a bedroom.
  2. Only applicable to re-bookers
  3. The booking of storage for current students will be subject to all terms under clause 2.1.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Can I choose where I wish to live?

    Yes. As long as there is availability then you are eligible to choose to stay at any Study Inn centre.


    Can I smoke in my room?

    In accordance with UK law smoking is not permitted indoors. You may however smoke outside in designated smoking areas.


    Can I have an overnight guest?

    Yes. It's your home, you are permitted to have a maximum of one guest stay over as long as they are over the age of 18 years. Additional terms do apply to overnight guest so please check with your Centre Manager first.


    Are there any items I shouldnt bring with me?

    We do have a few items we don't allow, this is general to prevent fire risk and damage to your room. A list of these items can be found via the Student Portal.


    Will I have a TV in my room?

    Yes. All rooms come with a TV with DVD player, please note though we provide the TV you must obtain a TV license during your stay.


    Can I bring my own console?

    Yes. Our shared apartments and TV lounge have Playstation's for you to use, but if you wish to set up your own console within your room then you may bring your own from home.


    Can I decorate my room?

    We do provide a white board/pin board within your room and you may display photo frames next to your bed. We do however ask you do not pin or stick anything to the walls as not to cause unnecessary damage.


    Can I share my room?

    Our studio room can be shared with a friend or partner, or for larger groups our shared apartments can tailor for group up to 7.


    Can I move rooms if I rebook?

    If you choose to rebook with Study Inn, you may re book your current room or choose a different room. Subject to availability


    Do I need to buy Kitchen utensils?

    Study Inn provide an all inclusive service, this includes a fully fitted kitchen, so all utensils and cooking appliances are all provided for you.


    Do I need a TV license?

    If you want to watch live TV, live streaming, or BBC iPlayer, youll need to purchase a TV license whether you watch those programmes on your TV, tablet or Smart Phone. If you just use your TV for gaming, Netflix or Amazon streaming you dont need a TV licence.
