We can arrange for the professional cleaning of your Apartment. The cost to clean a room in Semester 1, 2020 is as follows: $225 for studio apartment. Pricing is based on prepayment of cleaning prior to arrival.

If I wanted to break my lease, what are the costs associated with this?

Per Lease Agreement. The cost will be 2 weeks rent plus GST, $165 Advertising fee and Rent paid until the apartment is leased again.

What electricity cost am I responsible for?

Each resident pays for their energy as it is separately metered and will hold their own account with an energy company. The accommodation recommends Sumo as an electricity provider.

How much is the Internet / WiFi? Who is the provider?

Unlimited internet is provided by SuperLoop and is included in your rental package.

Do I need to organise my own Contents Insurance?

No, this is included in your rental package. 

Why is the rent not 4 times the weekly rent amount?

Rental in Victoria is per calendar month. As there are not always 4 full weeks in a month, the weekly rate is multiplied by 52 weeks (as there are 52 weeks in a year) and then divided by 12 months to get the monthly rate.

What do I do if I, or my family need somewhere to stay prior to checking into this accommodation?

If you or your family need somewhere to stay for a couple of nights to a week, or rest your head after coming in from a late-night flight then you can book at Essence Hotel Carlton. Offering comfortable rooms that give you the freedom to relax in a place away from home.
