If I wanted to break my lease, what are the costs associated with this?

The cost will be 2 weeks rent plus GST, $165 Advertising fee and Rent paid until the apartment is leased again.

What electricity cost am I responsible for?

Each resident pays for their energy as it is separately metered and will hold their own account with an energy company. The accommodation recommends Sumo as an electricity provider.

How much is the Internet / WIFI? Who is the provider and how much bandwidth do I have?

Internet access and WIFI is provided by Vostronet and unlimited WIFI is included in your rental payments.

Yes. To secure an apartment, the Tenant must pay 2 weeks advanced rent and pay a Security Deposit / Bond of 4 weeks rent. Bond is payable to the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA).

Are car parking spaces available?

Yes there are 385 car parking bays available and 800 bicycle spaces.

Do I need a mattress protector?

These are provided for you and the cost is covered in your departure clean fee.

Do you have an extra guest charge?

There is no charge for a guest for up to three nights in a studio apartment only.

Do I need to be classified as a student for the entirety of my contract with Accommodation?

Yes, to be a resident at Accommodation you need to have a current and valid student ID from the date you apply for your room and throughout your entire stay as per the dates on your contract agreement.
