  • Theatre Royal, the oldest continually-operating theatre in the English speaking world, was built during 1764--66 on King Street. In 2012 the theatre complex completed the first phase of refurbishment, that provided up to ten flexible performance spaces, Theatre Royal auditorium is the main theatre in the complex.
  • Bristol Hippodrome is a theatre located in The Centre, Bristol. It frequently features West End theatre shows when they tour the UK, as well as regular visits by Welsh National Opera and an annual pantomime. The theatre was opened on 16 December 1912.
  • Colston Hall is a concert hall on Colston Street, Bristol. The hall opened for the purpose of being a concert venue in 1867. It then became a popular place for classical music and theatre.   • Wickham Theatre is a studio theatre owned by Bristol University in Bristol. Students in all years engage in performances exploring forms and expressions in several theatrical traditions including experimental contemporary practice. The theatre is home to a regular programme of international visiting performers and companies.

  • Ashton Gate Stadium opened in 1887 is a stadium in Ashton Gate, Bristol, and is the home of Bristol City F.C. and Bristol Rugby. Located in the south-west of the city, just south of the River Avon. Apart from football the stadium also hosts rugby matches and music concerts.
  • Memorial Stadium, is a sports arena in Bristol. It is dedicated to the memory of local rugby union players of the city killed during the First World War. From its foundation in 1921 until moving to Ashton Gate in 2014 the Memorial Ground was the home to Bristol Rugby.

  • Brisfest, Bristol's underground electronic music festival. Held every year during the month of July the event celebrates the best of Bristol's home-grown musical talent and will involve 15 venues hosting 15 hours of music.
  • Bristol Harbour Festival is a festival held annually, it celebrates the city's maritime heritage and the importance of Bristol's docks and harbour. Activities including live music, street performances, fireworks and a variety of other live entertainments, are held on or near the waterfront of Bristol Harbour.
  • Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is held every year in England. Teams from the UK and other parts of the world bring their hot air balloons to the site and participate in mass lift-off's where as many as 100 balloons may launch at a time.The event was first held in 1979.
  • Upfest is Europe's largest, free, street art & graffiti festival. throughout Bedminster & Southville, Bristol from 29th-31st July. Over 300 artists from 30 countries. The artists paint live on 30,000 sqft of surfaces, across 35 venues. There's also art sales, workshops and music stages.

  • Clifton Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Avon Gorge and the River Avon, in North Somerset. Since opening in 1864, it has been a toll bridge and also used as a backdrop to several films and television advertising and programmes.
  • St. Mary Redcliffe is an Anglican parish church located in the Redcliffe district of Bristol. The church building was constructed from the 12th to the 15th centuries, and it has been a place of Christian worship for over 900 years. The church is renowned for the beauty of its Gothic architecture.
  • Cabot Tower is a tower in Bristol, situated in a public park on Brandon Hill, between the city centre, Clifton and Hotwells. The tower was built in the 1890s to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the journey of John Cabotfrom Bristol to land which later became Canada.
