If you want to cough or sneeze, do so into your sleeve and don't forget to disinfect surfaces like tables, desks, and doorknobs regularly because hands touch many surfaces and most likely to pick up viruses.

Everybody's in it together, and we all should be working together to find a solution quickly. As an individual, you can take this important step for lowering the risk of infection by "social distancing". And for that, Avoid social gatherings, unnecessary use of public transport, the party you have been planning for, or any kind of event with a large number of people. Social distancing will surely help stop the spread of infections- Don't think it's "uncool" to ask your friends to stay home, or skip gatherings, to cancel plans, You can spread awareness.

Maintain 3 feet distance between yourself and the person who is coughing or sneezing because they might spray small liquid droplets through their nose or mouth, and if the person has the disease, you can catch COVID-19 through the droplets. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.

3) Stay informed and Don't fall for fake news.

Not every Whatsapp forward is right, alright? You can't have cinnamon and honey to prevent the virus. So, stay informed on the latest updates and developments about it and most importantly, follow advice by your health care provider. It seems that as fast as the coronavirus spreads, so does misinformation. Ignore if your uncle is messaging you to tackle the virus by trying unverified home remedies, don't heed to rumours surrounding COVID-19 and send back the correct information to him.

4) Don't Panic; Take a deep breath.

If you feel you are developing the symptoms, seek medical advice promptly. Tell your recent travel history or if you have come in contact with anyone who is positive COVID-19. This can help prevent the possible spread of COVID-19. Make sure to wear a mask if you feel you are sick, and Take all the steps to protect others, as well. Self-isolate yourself for days to avoid spreading the infection, basically avoid going to public places. This applies to everyone, regardless of whether they have travelled abroad.

5) Don't leave your house unless absolutely necessary.

The number of cases around the world continues to rise; everyone is trying to do every possible thing to limit the spread of the disease. Restrict your activities outside of your home, including going to work, public areas, or using public transportation. This might get boring after some time but remember this is how you are helping yourself from getting infected and doing a good deed by protecting others if you are sick.
