University Course Cancellation/Modification

If your course has been cancelled by your university, please reach out to the Amber team with the relevant supporting documentation. We will liaise with the property team to review your request on a case-by-case basis for cancellation. The resolution will be subject to the property's assessment and the terms of your booking.

Deferring Studies

If you have deferred your studies, please contact the Amber team and share your updated university documentation. We will notify the property team to review your request for cancellation/contract amendment. Requests are assessed individually, and the final outcome will be subject to the property's review and booking terms.

Booking Deposit

One month's rent is payable at the time of booking. The first month's rent, together with the Tenant booking fee/Property service fee, reserves the property once payment has been made.

Security Deposit

A security deposit is generally required and the amount is stated in each listing. The security deposit may also be required by the landlord, as stated in the listing.

The requested dates may not be available due to overlapping bookings or specific needs of the landlord. 2. Price adjustments based on particular circumstances, such as seasonal rates, additional services requested, or discrepancies in the initially listed price. In these cases, you can choose to accept the alternative proposal or decline it and receive a refund of the amount paid during booking.

Can I send multiple booking requests?

Yes. Please keep in mind: 1. Always use the same email address when sending multiple requests. 2. If you send several requests at once and one is accepted and paid, the others will be automatically cancelled without any charge. 3. If you send new requests after one has already been confirmed, you may be charged again if one of them is accepted.

Which documents are required to book?
