Located in the vibrant student district of Nrrebro, you can easily and quickly reach the city by taking the public transport. Only 2 km from the city center is our a&o. The a&o Copenhagen has 270 rooms with 670 beds, an XXL lobby and 24/7 front desk service. If you feel like staying in, you can browse through our small library for travel tips and novels and make yourself at home in our reading corner. Students will find some rest for their research and paper work in our very own and unique students only area.

1. After booking till 8 weeks before the customer arrival - 100% refund. 2. Less than 8 weeks of customer arrival to 4 weeks of Arrival - 70% refund. 3. Less than 4 week of customer arrival - 50% refund. 4. Less than 24 hours of customer arrival - no refund.

Students can indicate specific room number or location preferences during the booking process, and the Amber team will accommodate these preferences wherever possible, based on availability.

Check in guide

Approximately 2–4 weeks prior to the scheduled move-in date, students will receive check-in instructions via email. This communication will include the steps required to select a check-in date and time slot, complete necessary documentation, and settle any outstanding payments prior to arrival.In case of any questions or queries, please feel free to contact the Amber team, and our team will assist to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Renewal policy

Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Early check in policy

Early check-in requests can be shared in advance with the Amber team. Our team will do a feasibility check to facilitate early check-in requests based on room readiness and availability. Additional charges may apply where applicable.

Is there any bus parking space?

There are bus parking spaces free of charge in close vicinity. Some a&o's offer bus parking spaces

Can I arrive after 6 p.m?

Guests with a FIX booking (cheaper rate; paid in advance) can arrive at any time without hesitation. Guests with a FLEX booking (payable on site; can be cancelled free of charge by 6 pm) should call us on +49 30 80 947 5110 and have their booking guaranteed by submitting their credit card details with CS Service Agent to be on the safe side. Then you can arrive later without any problems. The credit card is for security purposes only you can still pay on arrival. The card will only be charged if you do not arrive. Without a credit card, we cannot guarantee that your room will be available after 6 pm

Is car parking available?

Almost every a&o location has its own parking lot or underground parking. Street-level spaces cost from 5,- per day.

What are the check ins and check out timings?

Check-in is possible at any time. Your room is ready for you at 3pm. Check-out workdays is until 10am. Weekends and also holidays until 11am.
Are pets allowed? Dogs are always welcome at all a&o locations! You can bring a maximum of 2 dogs in your room for a fee of 10 per night and dog. Unfortunately it is not possible to bring dogs into the multi-bed rooms, as it is possible that it would make other guests uncomfortable. For the same reason we ask you not to bring dogs to the breakfast room. We appreciate your understanding

Any details about the caterings?

An extensive breakfast buffet awaits you Mon-Fri 7-11 am and Sat/Sun 7-11 am for only 7,90 EUR. Breakfast is free for kids below the age of 6 years (after that it's only 3.50 EUR). Guests who are 18+ years old pay the full prize of 7,90 EUR per person (online discount: 6,75 EUR) For groups of 10 or more we also offer dinner (upon request). We can also provide you with packed lunch for 6 EUR (groups from 10 people get a 50ct discount). It contains a sandwich, fruit, a snack bar and a drink
