    Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

    What Contract lengths are available?

    They know that not everyone’s requirements are the same which is why they offer a variety of contract lengths. Their contract lengths vary depending on which property you’re staying in, so please check the specific webpage of the residence you’re interested in for full details. When making your online booking, please make sure that you check both the contract length and the cancellation policy before you hit the confirmation button.

    Can I stay for summer or by semester?

    The accommodation options vary by Nido location. Nido Ajuda : they welcome stays during the summer.

    What room types do you have?

    They offer twin rooms sharing a bathroom and kitchen space, ensuite rooms within shared apartments, where you have access to your own bathroom, but you will share the living room and kitchen space. Or you can opt for a studio room or 1 bed apartment where you’ll have access to your own bathroom as well as your own private kitchen area. You can find out what is included in your room or apartment on the relevant residence page.

    Do u offer dual Occupancy?

    Dual occupancy is available at some of our property residences in Portugal. Please contact the team to find out more.

    What if I have a disability or special requirement?

    They have accessible rooms available at all their residences, so they want to make sure that everyone is able to have a safe and comfortable stay with them, so please let them know about any medical information or disabilities on your application, or contact them directly to find out more.

    When can I visit a PMG?

    If you would like to take a tour of building and their apartments, please fill in their Book a Tour form and we’ll confirm your viewing. Nido Ajuda: Reception from 9h to 18h.

    Who can live at property in portgual?

    Property is home away from home for young professionals and all students that are 16 years of age or over, from any university and any country in the world.  Nido Ajuda: they welcome young professionals as well as students at these residences. Further criteria apply, so please contact them for more information.

    Will I have internet in my room?

    Yes, they have high speed Wifi throughout each property so you can be connected at all times. More information on how to connect will be provided upon your arrival and this is included in your rent so you do not need to pay for it.

    What are the guest policies at property?

    They do allow day and night guests, however, for your own safety and security, there are a few guest policies in place:  * You can have unlimited guests visiting during the day between 8am and 10:30 pm * For overnight stays, one guest can stay for a maximum of five consecutive nights throughout the month * All guests must be 18 years of age or over * You will have to sign in your guests, and they must bring a photo ID to gain entry into the building * You will be responsible for your guest throughout their time at property

    Will my room be cleaned?

    Cleaning services are not included in your stay. However, they are available. All you have to do is to contact your property team to book your cleaning service for a small fee.

    Are there any additional services not included?

    They work hard to make sure that pretty much everything is included in your stay. Just so it’s clear, the below items are not included in your rent:
    They have vending machines in some of property. All snacks and drinks within the vending machines will be at your own cost. You can pay for your laundry on a pay-as-you-go basis. You can book room cleans at reception for a set fee.

    What happens if I lose my key?

    Their system utilizes a mobile app installed on your phone as the key to your room. In the event that you find yourself locked out, simply reach out to their staff, and they will promptly assist you by unlocking the door for your convenience.

    Is the gym free to use?

    Many of their property have gyms onsite which can be accessed free of charge 24/7, so you are welcome to work out whenever you feel like it. Upon check-in, they do require that you complete a gym induction to ensure you’re comfortable using all of the equipment.

    What happens if my light bulb needs replacing or something breaks?

    Their maintenance teams are available five days a week to help with any issues or questions. They’re also available for any emergencies during the weekends.
    If you do experience any maintenance issues during your stay, simply log it on your maintenance portal (full information can be found in your Welcome Book). The team will update you on the progress of the job and book a time with you for accessing your room.

    Am I able to bring my bike?

    they encourage everyone to bring their bikes to university as it makes for a much more environmentally friendly way to get around town. In fact, all of their property have bike storage available. Simply speak to the team to book your space.

    What documents do I need to check-in?

    When checking in to your property, we’ll need to see a form of photo identification (passport, drivers license etc).

    Can I change my room after I move in?

    If you’d like to move rooms, we’ll always try to accommodate it. Please do note that they can only offer room changes if there are rooms available to move into within your property and there is an understandable reason for wanting the change. Keep in mind that different rooms can be offered at varying prices. The rates are based on a number of things, like the size of the room, location in the building and its availability so it may be that you will have to pay a different rate to occupy another room. As terms and conditions may apply, please make sure you speak to us.

    Are there specific times of day that I can move in?

    To ensure you get the best check in experience, they will send out an email with all the necessary information to plan your arrival.
