If you prefer a bit quieter, you will have a relaxing walk through the Volkspark Friedrichshain. Alexanderplatz, TV-Tower, Potsdamer Platz, the Brandenburger Tor and the government quarter are in any Berlin visit missing - and they must not. Thanks to its central location and easy access to public transport, every hotspot can be reached quickly.

In general, Prenzlauer Berg is the place-to-be, because here young and old, artists and businessmen, primordial Berliners and world-goers gather together - a life-filled district in which to live well. Supermarkets and other shopping opportunities are located in the direct vicinity.

Type of contract: The deposit and the first and last full month's rent must be paid in advance. The indicated price refers to an occupancy of the apartment with up to two persons. For each additional person, 100,- Euro per person and month will be charged. The consumption costs of water (cold/hot), heating (gas) and energy are included and covers the cost for normal, usual consumption. If the consumption costs exceed the usual usage due to excess consumption, the difference must be paid by the tenant (fair- & climate-friendly use agreement). This agreement ensures that water and energy are used sustainably.

The first and last full month's rent and the deposit must be paid in advance.

Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Who will I share the property with?

None in the case of renting out an internal flat. In the case of renting out a room: unfortunately, due to GDPR requirements they are unable to share specific information about the other tenants in the property. In order to get a better idea of the other tenants in the property, they recommend that you consult their customer care team who will be able to provide you with general information on the tenants present: "e.g. mixed gender students aged between 20 and 27 years".

What are the booking costs?

Property charges a service fee which is proportional to the cost of the fee for the number of months booked. In addition to the booking costs, you can add specific costs for the registration of the contract, cleaning and sanitation. You can check for these additional costs in the ad description.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

When booking, the amounts to be paid are: one month's rent (which will be paid into the properties' landlord 48h after check in) + property commission. Once this amount is paid, the property will be reserved.

What is the monthly cost of utilities?

This information can be found in the Prices and availability section of each listing. For some listings utilities are included in the rental price for others they are excluded. For some properties utilities are included but up to a maximum monthly cap, this information will be present in the listing description or can be requested from their customer service team (e.g. utilities included up to a maximum of €150/month).

What if there is any Changes to my dates?

If during your tenancy you need to change your plans and move out early or extend your tenancy, they will be here to help you, simply contact their customer care team. Please note that property is not part of the tenancy agreement with your landlord, so you will need to inform both property and your landlord of your decision. Some rental agreements have early departure clauses, so they recommend that you check these in advance of your application. If you wish to stay in the property after your rental agreement has expired, you will need to enter a new booking request online, as this will be considered as a new rental. They recommend that you do this quickly to avoid losing your rental property.

What are the house rules?

Each property listing includes a set of house rules that are non-negotiable and set by the landlord. - Smoking Allowed: Indicates whether or not smoking is permitted on the property. It is highly recommended that you follow this rule, otherwise you risk losing the security deposit. - Pets Allowed: This will indicate if the landlord will allow pets to enter the property, it is recommended that you add information about your pet in the notes to your booking request so that the landlord is informed in advance. - Overnight Guests: Most owners do not allow guests to stay in shared properties, so please check if this is allowed or if the landlord will charge a supplement. - Couples allowed: Room owners do not allow couples inside the room.

Is there any extra booking costs which needs to be paid?

As they work with both property managers and private owners, you may find administration fees in some listings. These are fees that are charged by property managers to cover administrative costs, including, but not limited to, contract registration, inventory checks, reference checks, cleaning and sanitation costs. If your listing contains an administrative fee, you will find information about this in the Pricing and Availability section of the listing. These costs are NOT included in the property commission and will be payable directly to the landlord after the booking.

Can I visit the property?

You don't need to visit the property: in-person visits are a thing of the past. - Their team verifies the property before publishing it to ensure 100% consistency between the listing and reality. - All listings come with photos and detailed descriptions. If you still have doubts, you can ask for more information from their team. - They do not allow visits so that everyone has an equal chance to book, whether you already live in the area or are still abroad.

What happens if there are problems?

In case of problems, you can contact your reference property agent who will assist you in resolving any issues. For added security, the money you have paid will be sent to the landlord within 48 hours of check-in. Who is eligible to book a room?

Young professionals and students between 20 and 35 years old (except studios). One person per room, no bedroom sharing is allowed.

Which documents do they need for a booking?

-Copy of Passport -Income proof (Can be an employment or internship contract, blocked account, Savings, Payslips of last three months, guarantee, etc.)

Can I view the apartment?

Unfortunately, you cannot due to the high requests they receive daily. Once you are a tenant of them, you will like the policy that your new home is not always viewed by unknown persons all the time.

More information about your future flatmates?

It s great to hear that you also care a lot about who will live with you in the future. Their biggest wish is to find suitable members for their community. Usually your flatmates are international students or young professionals and between 20 and 38 years old. I can't give you more information because of data security. I'm sure you will have a good time in their community.

When are the first payments due?

The deposit and the membership fee will be charged after you enter your payment details on their website. The rent is due only some days before your contract starts. You cannot sublet this property at any time during your booking period.
