AI Evolution Drives International Students Towards STEM Education

STEM courses have always been a sought-after programe for students. As recent news has been hinting, The AI evolution is causing a worldwide surge in STEM students. AI has been developing each day and evolving in order to make our lives easier. It has also been making a boom in STEM courses. 

Students can now use AI for STEM education, where students are learning the integration of AI in courses such as machine learning, data analysis and automation. There was a global surge among students between 2010-2020, where students have shown massive interest in STEM courses. There has been a surge in undergraduate programs, which have grown by a substantial 62%, Graduate programs have also shown a major increase by 80%, followed by doctorate level courses showing a surge between 32%-36%.

A widely asked question is why there is a sudden increase in STEM education. However, this is quite self-explanatory as AI makes its way through different fields and careers. Moreover,  It has also made a significant impact on STEM courses and careers and, most importantly, STEM courses. With the integration of AI, students can now explore uncharted territories of STEM courses and solve problems which were difficult to address at first. According to the Future of Jobs Report 2023 by the World Economic Forum, the inclusion of AI has also made 75% of companies include AI integration and cloud computing in their daily operations in the next couple of years. As a result of this, the demand for students with STEM degrees with the inclusion of AI is also expected to increase.

As AI is rapidly growing every day, this may pose a hurdle for educational institutions. With the rapidly advancing technology, it might be hard for institutes to change their curriculum and the required devices and technologies. Students and professors may also have to upgrade their previous knowledge on a regular basis as there are new discoveries almost every day. 

STEM courses are available in some of the most prestigious universities in the world. Ranging from countries like the USA, Germany, Canada, the UK, India and many more. These countries have various universities, such as MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, IIT and various other universities which offer STEM courses.
