As Ireland has been inviting Indian students to study in Ireland, the number is increasing drastically due to a major rise in research and job opportunities. Irish institutions have ongoing talks with over 30 universities in India. These partnerships include research in various areas like engineering, law, social sciences, computer science, and hospitality. 

Ireland’s higher education institutions offer an extensive 5000+ programmes which lead to internationally recognised qualifications. Ireland also looks to offer various opportunities to Indian students and their departments to find students according to their capacity and requirements to study in Ireland for international students. 

The bilateral relationship between Ireland and India has increased drastically over time. In terms of academic ties, Ireland universities for international students have also increased after the ongoing talks between Irish universities and Indian institutions.
