This is my first apartment and I really enjoy it. The staff such as Tyra, Mario, and Maria help tremendously. Every time I have a question or even something that needs to be fixed, they’re always so kind and quick to help. Moving out has been a huge change and I truly appreciate their kindness and help through this process. - I like the fact that there’s plenty of parking, mostly quiet during the nights, plenty of lights to feel safe, and the actual apartment is comfortable. - The only cons would have to be the roaches but even so, there’s pest control that comes with the utility bill. We just have to sign up for it. As well as package stealing but I installed an easy setup camera from Amazon to prevent that.

The rooms were a bit congested when I booked the room but it was mostly cleaned by the cleaners from time to time. The rent is also little bit expensive otherwise it is not that costly. There is proper lighting and internet connectivity here. The security concern is also very very strict.

I've lived here for about 2 years now. I never encountered a problem with the staff or any neighbours living here! Very quiet community and is located in a great spot in the city. No bug problems, or maintenance problems. If people do have a problem it's usually because their apartment isn't at it's best standards. Scotland Yard is a great place to live.

Student Accommodations in Houston

Houston Student Housing

Houston's student scene is buzzing. With over 70,000 students at the University of Houston (UH), Rice University, Texas Southern University (TSU), and more, there’s a big need for good housing. Finding on-campus student housing in Houston is tough. Spots disappear quickly, like concert tickets. This pushes many students to search for student apartments in Houston outside the campus. Houston's off-campus game has it all. You can choose from budget-friendly shared apartments to save money with roommates. Or, if you prefer your own space, there are fancy private studios too. Looking for something in between? Apartments near the University of Houston, like Altitude, Willow Creek, and Tower 5040, offer that sweet spot of community vibes without sacrificing your privacy.

When the Houston student housing hunt feels tough, amber steps in with their student-focused platform. No more risky bets or endless property tours. Amber has verified listings of student housing in Houston and real photos (not those dodgy wide-angle shots). Their team helps you navigate leases, so you don’t accidentally sign your life away. Student housing in Houston costs between $700 for shared rooms and over $1,800 for luxury options. Amber's personalised help ensures you find the perfect Houston student housing that lets you enjoy more than just ramen all semester.

About Houston

Houston, nestled in the heart of southeast Texas, is a total vibe—a sprawling metropolis where Southern charm meets urban edge. Founded in 1836, this city is named after Sam Houston, a key figure in Texas history. It has transformed from an oil boom town into a vibrant cultural hub.

When you're not cramming for exams, escape to nearby Galveston beaches or get lost in the 160+ miles of bayou greenways. The music scene? Absolutely slaps—from the iconic Day for Night festival to Rolling Loud Texas and endless local shows where you might catch the next Beyoncé (yes, she's from here!). Houston has great schools, like Rice University, ranked #17 in the nation, and the University of Houston (UH). Also, Houston's huge Texas Medical Center has over 100,000 staff, so your internship and job chances look great.
