Yes, its simple. You can book an appointment by phone or email to arrange your appointment. office hours are 9:00 am 5:00 pm monday to friday.

How do I know my appointment has been confirmed?

They will email you a confirmation of your tour with the date and time of your appointment which you Should bring with you to the viewing.

What will I see at the viewing?

They will show you all the communal areas of the residence and single and shared rooms (if Available).

What is the contract length? Will I be able to move Out earlier?

At  housing, it has to be a minimum of a 5 weeks stay. please ensure that you check the Cancellation policy beforehand. You can move out whenever you are ready but a 30 days writing Notice is required. If they do not receive it, then you will need to pay the full rent until the end of the Agreement.

If I check out before my confirmed departure date Will I be charged or will I be refunded the days I am Leaving behind?

You can move out whenever you are ready but you will still need to pay the full rent until the end of The agreement unless you have provided us with a writing 30 days notice.

Can I choose my roommate or do I need to bring a Roommate?

If you wish to share a room with a friend or partner, then you must book a shared room. Both of you Need to make the booking for shared room. When booking you must give details of the 2nd resident In the special requirements box. You do not need bring a roommate, they will do the matching.

When is it too late to apply for housing?

They recommend you to apply at least 6 months in advanced for summer season.

After applying, am I done with the housing process?

No. You can apply for housing through email. After providing all the documents and payments Needed, you will get a e-mail with all the details of your reservation confirmed. If you have not Received any letter from us confirming your booking then, you need to contact us to check the status of your application.

Can I choose which floor/room I live on? When will I Find out my room number?

Rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis. You can specify any special requests at the Time of your booking and they will do best to accommodate you in that room. You will be given Your room number upon your arrival unfortunately they cannot give you this before your arrival. Please do not arrange for items/belongings to be delivered before your arrival as they are unable to Store anything that arrives before you do!

What happens if I am unable to move in on my chosen Start date?

You do not have to move in on your chosen start date. You can move in any time after your chosen Start date, just not before. If you know you will be arriving on a different date please inform the Housing team so they can make the necessary arrangements to welcome you when you do arrive! 

Will I have internet in my room?

Of course! housing offers free wireless throughout all residences!

Will I have a tv in my room?

Tvs are provided in the rooms and common areas.

Will I have a phone in my room?

You will not have a phone in the room and this is not an option available.

Do you have laundry and how much does it cost?

Every sfo housing building has a laundry room onsite with several washers and dryers which You can use from 8am to 10pm. Fees are: $3.00 per wash and $2.75 per use of the dryer.

Are kitchen essentials and bedding included in my Room?

At housing they provide linen, duvet, pillows and towels. Our community kitchen is equipped With crockery, pans, pots etc.

What documents do I need to check-in?

They require your passport and visa or state id for identification. They will also need a valid credit card To process payments. Without these you will not be able to check-in at the residence. Housing will need to receive the contract signed and paperwork required prior to check-in. Please Note that without these you will not be able to check-in at the residence.

What do I need to pay before I arrive?

You only need to pay a $250 refundable deposit and $25.00 non-refundable application fee to Secure the room with us. The remaining fees for your stay are due to arrival.
Can I change my room after I move in if I don't like it? Yes you can, but they can only offer this if there is still space available and you have a valid reason. Please bear in mind that different rooms are offered at different prices and it may be that you have to Pay a different rate to occupy a different room. The rates are based on a number of things, e.G. Size Of the room, location in the building and availability. You can contact reservations team for more.
Is there Extra Storage Space OnsiteUnfortunately, there is no extra storage space.

What time is my check in/check out?

Check in time is 3pm on the date your contract begins. Our check out time is at 11am on the Date your contract ends.

What is your cancellation policy?

Upon receipt of the email confirming your booking (the acceptance email), there is a 7 day cooling Off period whereby you may cancel your booking by sending notice to us via email

What if I want to live in a different housing Residence to the one I have booked?

Should a resident book with us at one of our residence and then want to move to another residence, This will be possible providing there are rooms available. However any resident wishing to do this will incur a $25 administration fee if the move is prior to Check in. If the move is requested after check in, then extra charges may apply.
