Renewal policy

Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Payment Info :-  To secure your accommodation, a fee of AUD 600 is due which is comprises of the AUD 240 application fee, a AUD 150 departure clean fee and a AUD 210 security deposit.

Yes. There is a non-refundable application fee of AUD 240.

Is an advanced payment required?

Yes. To secure your accommodation, a fee of AUD 600 is due which is comprises of the AUD 240 application fee, a AUD 150 departure clean fee and a AUD 210 security deposit.

Do I need to pay a departure clean fee?

Yes, a departure cleaning fee of AUD 150 will be requested upon application.

If I wanted to break my contract, what are the costs associated with this?

Early Termination Fee applies if you break your contract. The fee is equivalent to one (1) weeks current occupancy fee paid prior to departure. This amount cannot be deducted from the Security Deposit. The Resident acknowledges and agrees that if he/she has breached the Licence to Occupy:

the Occupancy Fee must be paid until another Resident is found and commences his/her residency, or until the Licence to Occupy ends, whichever occurs first;
if the Occupancy Fee is not paid, then it will be deducted from the Security Deposit; and
should the amount of the Security Deposit be insufficient to cover the Occupancy Fee the Resident(s) will be liable to pay the difference.

If no other Resident is found until the end of the License to Occupy, and all the Occupancy Fees are paid, the Early Termination Fee is refundable. The cost will be 3 weeks occupancy fee plus GST, and occupancy fees paid until the apartment is occupied again.
