Eligibility Criteria

Offering a difficult acceptance rate of 10%, it makes it very crucial to tick off every box from the eligibility criteria to get into the University of Munich Germany. 

1. To secure admission to a graduate program, the student must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale. 
2. For the bachelor's degree, the applicant must score a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. 
3. The applicant must submit a German language proof. 
4. The entrance qualification for the bachelor's degree is a high school leaving certificate, which acts as proof of qualification to embark on your journey in a degree program. The German higher education entrance qualification is also known as Abitur in Germany. 

University of Munich: Fees 

The university charges a fee per semester, depending on the type of degree. The students are required to pay the fees during registration. We have listed the fees for Bachelor and Master programs below.  

Bachelor Programs: €2,000 - €3,000
Masters Programs: €4,000 - €6,000

For visiting students, the university charges a tuition fee which depends on the number of courses and number of hours in a week. We have listed the amount you will be charged, which corresponds to the number of courses you have opted for.

1. Less than 5 hours/ week each semester: €100 
2. 5-8 hours/week each semester: €200
3. More than 8 hours/week each semester: €300

Application Deadline

The University of Munich offers summer and winter intakes. The applicant should submit their application by 15th January for the Summer intake and 15th July for the Winter intake for undergraduates. Similarly, for the students who wish to apply for the winter intake for postgraduate programs, the deadline is 20th August. Applicants applying for Doctoral Degree Programs should submit their application before 30th October. The dates do not change and remain constant each year.
