Their postal service operates during office hours. They inform students about the postal process upon their arrival. Students should notify staff about any expected recorded or special deliveries. They must provide ID when collecting parcels. While friends may collect parcels, the student must inform the accommodation team in advance. They are not liable for loss, theft, or damage of mail, nor for uncollected deliveries, or packages arriving outside office hours or when staff are absent. Unclaimed mail is returned to the sender after 4 weeks.

At the end of the tenancy period and after check-out, if the keys have been returned and possessions are found in the room these are recognised as Abandoned Property. Any property left in the common area of the flat once all keys of the flat have been returned will also be classed as abandoned property.If the goods are not collected by an agreed date, they will be disposed of as follows: 1. The left items will be classed as having no re-sale value or no value to justify the cost of sale and will be donated to a local charity or disposed of as waste. 2. If you have left documents such as a passport or birth certificates and you wish them to keep, then you are required to inform them by the above collection date. They will then hold onto these for you until a further agreed date for you.
