Raleigh Road is a beautiful student accommodation in Bristol that comes with numerous shared apartments. it is located at a short distance from the BPP University and City of Bristol College, which makes it a common favorite.

Features

These cozy rooms feature a large window, a plush bed and a study desk, where the students can finish their assignments using the free high-speed Wi-Fi. Additionally the rooms also have a spacious wardrobe where one can keep all their belongings and a full size mirror. The kitchen comes well equipped with a fridge, a cooktop, a microwave and many more.

Location and What's Hot?

The student residence is located near a variety of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, giving them plenty of options for hanging out with their friends. You can grab your favorite biryani from Coronation Curry House or your favorite Mediterranean dishes from La Mediterranean. While on the way to college, one can pick up their favorite cup of coffee from Little Victories or Tincan Coffee Co.. Check in guide

Approximately 2–4 weeks prior to the scheduled move-in date, students will receive check-in instructions via email. This communication will include the steps required to select a check-in date and time slot, complete necessary documentation, and settle any outstanding payments prior to arrival.In case of any questions or queries, please feel free to contact the Amber team, and our team will assist to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Renewal policy

Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Early check in policy

Early check-in requests can be shared in advance with the Amber team. Our team will do a feasibility check to facilitate early check-in requests based on room readiness and availability. Additional charges may apply where applicable.

Security Deposit

1. To secure a room student has to Pay a Security Deposit, in which one Week's rent will be holding deposit and it will be non-refundable. 2. The deposit will depend on the room type you select. The deposit might change due to availability, please get in touch with your amber agent to know more. 3. The rest of the security deposit will be refundable after inspection less any charges and deductions once the student moves out.

Pay In Instalment

1. If the Student has UK based guarantor the student can opt for monthly installment plans. 2. If the student does not have a UK-based guarantor, they can pay in 2 half-yearly instalments or pay the whole rent upfront.

Mode Of Payment

Credit card, debit card & bank transfer.

Guarantor Requirement

To book a room UK-based guarantor is required if the student is paying in installments. To be eligible to act as your guarantor: 1. They must be residing in the UK and have a UK bank account. 2. You must provide the address of the guarantor and their proof of residence. 3. The guarantor whose details you provide must be able to guarantee the lower of:  The total sum of rent payable by you to your landlord over the period of one year; or The total sum of rent payable and Deposit by you to your landlord over the period of your tenancy if your tenancy is less than one year. In instances where you are not able to provide a guarantor situated in the UK, you will be required to pay 6 months rent or the whole rent upfront.

Do Pay Council Tax?

As you are a student, you should not pay Council Tax and you must remember to fill in this form as soon as you move into your new property.

Do need a TV licence?

Yes, a licence is required to watch any programmes (even if you’re not watching on a TV).

Who protects my deposit?

Your landlord must protect your deposit using a tenancy deposit protection scheme. It must be a Government approved deposit scheme.

Is Wi-Fi included?

It depends on the property – it will be clear in the property description whether Wi-Fi is included in the price. PMG also have partnered up with The Bunch to help you sort out your bills.

How much are bills?

Landlords should be able to provide a rough idea of how much bills will be for the property. All-inclusive bills for properties is usually easier but more expensive than sorting them out yourself as there is a mark up or you pay a management fee. PMG can offer you a bills included package with every home on their platform.

Can I sub-let my room?

Yes, the PMG platform allows subletting but make sure you have permission from your landlord! Or, ask us for advice.

Do have to pay a 12-month contract?

Most of their landlords would prefer you entered into a 10-12-month contract. You can sublet through PMG when you’re not there if you’re strapped for cash. Some of their landlords are happy for shorter lets but please get in touch to ask whether that is the case!

How much is a deposit?

Typically, a deposit is one month’s rent. Or 3-5 weeks.

What is a guarantor? Do need one?

Yes, you will need a guarantor. A guarantor is someone who agrees to pay your rent. For example, a parent or close relative. If you don't pay your landlord what you owe them, they can demand your guarantor to pay on your behalf. Please read your tenancy agreement or your separate guarantor agreements, which sets out the guarantor's legal obligations.
