Q: What is an individual lease?

A: Each student is responsible for their own lease and the charges or fees on their tenant portal. If one of your roommates is delinquent or terminates their lease, you won’t be effected. Please keep in mind that all tenants in the unit are equally responsible for the shared spaces in the unit.

Q: Do I need to find my roommate in order to share a room?

A: No. Accommodation takes care of all roommate matching.

Q: If I have a friend, can we move in together?

A: Yes, you may apply together and request to be roommates. Roommate requests are granted based on availability. 

Q: Do male and female students share the same apartment?

A: No, all of our apartment units are gender-specific unless requested otherwise by students or groups.

Q: Can I have visitors?

A: Of course! Visitors are allowed during the day but will have to leave apartment by 10 p.m. No overnight guests are allowed. 

Q: How do I check in?

 A: Once your lease is signed and move-in payments are received, you will need to e-mail with your move-in date and time to make sure a team member is available upon your arrival. You will need to show a valid photo ID at check-in. Please note: check-in hours are between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. 

Q: How do I check in after hours?

A: Please contact to request an after-hours check in. A staff member will contact you with further instructions.

Q: Does each student get a set of keys?

A: Each student is provided with one set of keys which includes a key to the apartment unit, community amenities, and mailbox.

Q: Are parking spots available at my child's apartment?

A: There are assigned parking spaces available for a monthly fee. Students need to contact their customer service representative to request a parking space. Requests are honored if available.

Q: Can my child use financial aid to pay for Accommodation housing?

A: The resident is responsible for making their rent payments and deposits on time and in full, regardless of how and when their financial aid is dispersed. If financial aid is dispersed to you after your rent is due, we suggest that you pay out-of-pocket and reimburse yourself once your financial aid disbursement is received.

Q: How safe are your apartments?

A: Accommodation cannot guarantee your safety. However, we take steps to provide safe environments including controlled-access buildings and 24-hour onsite courtesy patrol provided by the building owners.

A: No meals are provided. All Accommodation have fully-equipped kitchens where students can prepare their own healthy and delicious meals.

A: Accommodation housing application is free. Once the application is approved, the student can pay the holding deposit to reserve their bed space. The holding deposit will convert to a refundable security deposit once the resident moves in.
