Where are my checkin instructions?

You will receive check-in instructions by email 4 to 7 days before your move date. Your check-in email will include your home address, home manager contact information, parking information, digital access codes, room information, how to stay up to date with their events, and your home rules.

Once I arrive, when can I move in?

You can move in any day of the month, they will leave your room ready by 2pm on your check-in day. You will be able to access your home through a digital key, which will enable you to access whenever you need (on the first day, after 2pm). Please consult your home manager if you expect to arrive outside of general check-in times.

Can I leave my luggage before checking in?

Even though check-in is after 2pm, you can coordinate with your home manager to leave your luggage earlier. They will send you the information to contact you in your check-in email.

What equipment and amenities are included?

All their properties include a smart TV (40″ to 50″), super-fast WiFi, furniture, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and many kitchen items (including refrigerator, dishes, cutlery, utensils, knives, containers, pans, plates various types, glasses, cups, cups, French press coffee maker, teapot, electric kettle, toaster, burners, microwave, oven and freezer). Please check the individual ads for each apartment with specific information about each one as they vary by property.

How do you decide who to put together on the same floor?

The Property team meets with all colivers in the process of the property visit or video call and they will chat to get to know you and understand more about you and what you are looking for in your homemates. Is cooking allowed at home? Yeah! In fact they encourage cooking, especially with your notable colivers.

Can my partner/friend/relative, etc. visit and stay overnight?

Property will be your home, so you can have guests. You will simply have to notify your roommates, so they are not surprised. Also, if the duration of a temporary stay is longer than 2-3 days, please let the operations team know and they will resolve it on a case-by-case basis.

Can friends come over for dinner?

They love that you invite friends for lunch, dinner, etc. Just warn others and be careful about noise after 10 pm. You can always bring the fun to a common area with closed doors.

Are there household rules?

They ask all members to behave respectfully towards each other, this includes keeping noise down after 10pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends and always informing housemates when you intend to to bring visitors. Once the contract is signed, an email will be sent with all the rules.

Is it possible to meet my housemates before moving?

Whenever possible they will arrange your visits so that you can meet your potential colleagues.

How does the Property Referral Program work?

The Property Referral Program is a fantastic way for a Property member to earn credit to apply toward future stays. For each friend you bring, €100 will be deducted from your next monthly payment.

What kind of community life can I expect?

There are never dead moments with Property members, who come from a wide diversity of backgrounds, cultures and perspectives. Even more, their range of exciting events means there will constantly be opportunities to meet and engage with other colivers whenever you want!

What is expected of me?

Property is a home-sharing community, so keeping your home clean and helping others is highly appreciated. They have very high standards of service and cleanliness, so homes must be well maintained. They also ask all new members to agree to their rules before moving to Property.

How much does it cost to live in Property?

The price depends mainly on the city and the private room you choose. You can browse all their homes here . Please note that prices include everything: from furniture to community bills and services, WiFi, weekly cleaning of common areas, etc. There are no hidden costs – you always pay just one bill per month, and that's it.

What documents will Property require from me?

They will need the employment contract and/or educational certificate, a copy of the DNI or passport, the last 2 payslips and a bank account certificate for ourselves or the guarantor. That will be all!

Do I need to pay a security deposit?

Yes, they will need to retain 2 months' worth of rent as a deposit.

Will my deposit be returned at the end of my stay?

If there were no damages or accidents that caused costs, your deposit will be returned within 30 days from your departure date.

How long can I stay at Property?

You can stay as long as you want. Their contracts have a maximum duration of 11 months.

Is there a minimum stay that I must commit to?

For now their minimum rental period is 1 month.

Can my deposit be transferred to a different account or from another country?

Absolutely! They can return your deposit to any account you indicate.

Can I pay my bill/deposit after check-in?

They will require a deposit to be paid before you move in. Your invoice may be paid a few days before your move (through your foreign account or after you open a new one).

Can I pay my deposit/invoice with a credit card?

Unfortunately they do not accept card payment. Payment will be made through direct debit or bank transfer.

Do I need to formally communicate if I decide to release my room?

If you leave the country, move or would like to change neighborhoods, you must inform them 30 days in advance.

When is rent due?

Rent must be paid on the first day of each month. If you move in the middle of the month, your rent will be prorated from the day you move into Property.

What is coliving?

Coliving is a form of housing where residents (colivers) share different spaces, interests, values and interactions. In their case, they consist of fully furnished homes that are conceived by and for a millennial generation that values collaboration, networking, and being part of an inspiring environment.

Can I use Property as my permanent address?

You can use the address whenever you like as long as you have an active contract with them :)

Who uses Property?

The Property community is a diverse network of professionals from around the world. Most Property members are what they call flexible location professionals or digital nomads. And they include many more types of jobs and situations than you can imagine.

What is a Property membership?

When you live at Property you are a member, not a tenant. Beyond finding your right home, they want to make sure you feel at home. As much as they love animals, Property does not offer Pet-Friendly Homes at this time. Stay tuned because soon they will be opening new locations that will be pet friendly.

What accessories are included in Property homes? Should I bring something?

They try to provide as many accessories as possible, so you don't have to worry or bring too many things when you move. From kitchen utensils and equipment, tableware, cutlery, glasses, mixers, toaster, plates, pans, glasses, clothes iron and more. As if that were not enough, pillows and duvets will be included.

Do all your properties come furnished?

Yes, all their properties are fully furnished. At a minimum, you can expect the common areas to have a full dining room, sofa, armchairs, coffee table, smart TV, shelving, and decorative accessories. In the rooms you will have a bed of at least 120cm, night table, table lamp, work/study desk with lamp and wardrobe.

Can I remove the furniture if I bring my own?

They cannot remove any pieces of furniture provided by them, but if there is space in your private room you will be able to add additional small pieces of furniture (as long as they do not require any type of fixing to the walls or floor).

How big are the private rooms?

They do not focus on square meters. Their approach is to provide the rooms with enough space to sleep in a comfortable bed of at least 1.20m wide, have a generous closet and a work/study desk in a space where you can use a yoga mat and practice privately :)

How big are Property homes?

Most of their homes have almost 150m2. They have large kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, providing plenty of space for your different needs. Washers, dryers and dishwashers are always offered in their homes.

How many people live in a Property home?

Depending on the size of the apartment, there are between 4 and 20 people in each household, which implies that each member has around 40m2 of total space. Each member has their private furnished room.

What Internet speed do you have?

All Property properties have a WiFi network that ensures super-fast downloads and an excellent signal throughout every home.
