The city was founded in the early 1860s and is named after William Joel Bryan, who was a local influential figure of that time. Located in Brazos County, Bryan is a beautiful city in the state of Texas. With a total population of 89,017 as of 2023, it is growing at an exponential rate. The city is a part of the Bryan College Station metropolitan area. Situated in the eastern part of Texas, it is approximately 90 miles from Houston, another city highly preferred by students and 160 miles from Austin.
