What are per-person contracts?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Northpoint Crossing has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

What is included in the rate?

Each resident at Northpoint Crossing pays a flat rate that includes:
Furnishings
In-unit laundry
High-speed internet
Trash disposal
Community features – pool, fitness center, etc.

What size are the apartments?

Are the apartments furnished?

Yes, all apartments at Northpoint Crossing have a furniture package that includes a full-size bed, nightstand, desk and chair, and dresser drawers in each bedroom. The living area includes a sofa, coffee table, entertainment stand and barstools. To see a sample of the furniture and other finishes, please visit their model apartment.

When do the contracts start and end?

The standard term begins August 15, 2024 and ends July 24, 2025, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates are available; please inquire with their staff.

Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent), or pre-pay the final 2 installments.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Northpoint Crossing offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Will my financial aid cover charges at Northpoint Crossing?

Your living costs at Northpoint Crossing can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. Nearly all the residents at Northpoint Crossing are students at Texas A&M University or Blinn College and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Residents/families with children are welcome. There is no extra cost for minor children in the care of adult residents, other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. A minor occupying a bedroom space rented by a parent, guardian or person with legal custody is not considered a breach of the Housing Agreement or a violation of the rules. Northpoint Crossing is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. In order to match student roommates in shared apartments, they will request roommate consent for any non-student occupants.

What kind of safety and security are provided?

Northpoint Crossing has a monitored fire-sprinkler system, along with electronic locks plus individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

This is by far the best apartment I've stayed at during my years at A&M. It's walking distance from campus, amazing staff, and everything you need is nearly 10 minutes within reach. The reasons I loved living here was mainly due to the distance to campus. With my scooter, it took me 10 minutes to get to west campus and 20 minutes walking to ILCB. Rooms are spacious enough to live comfortably.
