Each room comes fully furnished with modern furniture and features a comfortable bed, a desk and a chair, a balcony/patio, a full-size washer/dryer, cable and free high-speed WiFi. They have some of the best common amenities including a sand volleyball court, a clubhouse, a covered basketball court, ping pong tables, a resort-style pool, where you can chill with your friends during your free time. There is also a 24-hour fitness centre, a resident lounge and a games room, so you'll never be bored while you stay here.

You’ll be at the centre of everything since there are parks, stores, restaurants, and schools all around you. Hilltop Tavern Bar and Socal’s Tavern are some of the most happening places close to the property. You can also have Sunday brunch at Bacon & Butter and Mezcal Grill. Tourist attractions such as Fairytale Town, California State Railroad Museum and McClatchy Park are also located nearby.

As soon as they have signed a lease and are living on the property.

What are the requirements to be able to live at The Ruckus?

General guidelines require either a Guarantor or proof that you make three times the total monthly rent.

Is there a convenient way to get to campus?

The Ruckus are about a 15-minute walk to campus or a 5-minute drive. We are also right next to the Express Bus Route stops. The Express Bus comes every 7-8 minutes during the school year.

What is the best way to get around campus and Pullman?

There is an Express Bus Route that goes right to the WSU Campus. Other bus routes go around Pullman.

Are the apartments furnished?

The Ruckus do offer furnished units for an additional fee.

Are utilities included? What are the costs?

Spectrum cable, water, sewer, electricity, and garbage are included for a flat rate. It costs $50 for the 4 Bedroom Floor Plans, $55 for the 3 Bedroom Floor Plans, and $65 for the 1 and 2 Bedroom Floor Plans. Internet is its own $15, as well as renters insurance $15.  These fees are added to your rent unless you have your own.

How are roommates picked and when do students get these results?

You are able to lease with your roommates if you prefer. If you would like to just lease a bedroom, they would have you fill out our Roommate Matching Survey and match you with roommates!

Can friends room together? How?

Absolutely! Just let us know upon reserving your room who youd like to room with, and theyll make it happen!

Are there laundry facilities?

There is no need for laundry facilities or lugging your clothes to the laundromat. Every unit at The Ruckus comes equipped with a washer and dryer so you can do your laundry right at home.

Can residents have overnight guests?

Yes! We have guest parking permits available for overnight guests. Your guest cannot stay for more than three (3) consecutive nights without being added to your lease.

Can students bring a car and is parking available?

We have a ton of on-site parking available. It is first-come-first-serve and we do require parking permits. The parking permits are $10 per month! There is a limit of 1 per leaseholder.

Are pets allowed in the apartments?

They are a pet friendly community. A max of 2 pets are allowed in apartments. There are only a few dog breed restrictions, but no weight limit for pets.

When will I know where I will be living?

Your leasing agent will contact you as soon as an apartment becomes available that matches your preferences!

Do I need rental insurance for my personal belongings?

Yes. They do require each resident to purchase and maintain an active renters insurance policy.

When is rent due?

Rent is due in full at time of move-in, or if you wish to do monthly payments, rent is due the 1st of each month.

Who should I contact if I have a maintenance problem?

During office hours you are welcome to stop by the office or call in to place a service request. In the case of an emergency after hours, please call the emergency hotline!

Who do I contact if I lock myself out of my apartment?

I'm in my first year at WSU, do I have to live on campus?

As a freshman this year you can live off-campus.
