Welcome to Village Walk, one of the best student accommodations in Oxford, the city of the Universities. It offers a wide range of 1-2-3 bedroom apartments just a short ride away from Ole Miss University and a haven of Eateries and Entertainment options. For a truly luxe living experience in a boutique-inspired student community with amazing amenities, this property is an ideal choice.

Features

All the rooms in this place are fully furnished, and they come with hardwood-style vinyl Flooring. If privacy concerns you, you can select a private apartment that includes HDTV in your bedroom. A large window from the floor to the ceiling just behind your cosy bed, allowing fresh air and sunlight to pass, is worth it. High-speed internet is included in the bill. The kitchen has Stainless Steel Appliances with granite countertops. For laundry, there's a full-size in-unit washer and dryer. Also, in the shared apartment, you will have a private bedroom and a private bathroom, just a shared kitchen to cook together. And an HDTV in the Living Room to make movie nights with your roomies. In the common area, you can enjoy the rooftop lounge, elevators, onsite retail, and well-manicured courtyard. And you may like the Echelon Smart Cycling too, which is available to all the residents.

Location and What's Hot?

The location is really an advantage here. You can find a minimum of 10 universities and institutions within a mile or two. Walking down to the University of Ms. English Department takes only 8 minutes. However, the Residential College at. Ole Miss, Center for the Study of Southern Culture, University of Mississippi, and many more departments and campuses are less than 10 minutes of ride away. Within a 5 to 10-minute walk down the street, you will find over 10 restaurants and eateries, including Newk's Eatery, Tallahatchie Gourmet, Proud Larry's, and Oxford Burger company. Additionally, you can easily walk to Larson's Cash Saver grocery store, an ATM, and other necessities.

Commute

You have the option to keep your bike or rent one from a nearby location. Alternatively, the University bus transit stops provide a convenient mode of transportation.

What is the advantage of an individual lease?

With an individual lease, also called by the bedroom lease, you are responsible for your own monthly rent and the regular upkeep of your part of the apartment. Unlike conventional joint leases, you are not responsible for any delinquent amounts owed by your roommates. This means if a roommate moves out early or misses a payment, all other residents are not responsible for making up the difference.

What is a rental installment?

The rental installment is your monthly payment for rent. they do not prorate rent, rather you are charged a total rent amount for the lease term divided into equal installments. Rent is due on the 1st of each month.

What is included in the rental installment?

Your rental installment includes high-speed internet and parking. Any other fees such as parking, utilities, furniture, or pet fees will be a separate charge.

What about utilities?

Your utilities, electricity and water/sewer, and gas will be set up and ready to go the day you move in. Each apartment will be metered for your actual usage and we'll divide the bills up for each roommate.

How can I make a payment?

They accept check, cashier's check, and money orders in our leasing office, made payable to Village Walk. All payments received in the leasing office will be electronically processed. For your convenience, they will also offer an online payment option. they are unable to accept cash.

Will I need a guarantor to lease an apartment?

Unless your income is greater than three times the rental installment, you will need a guarantor. A guarantor must meet the income requirements and credit qualifications. The guarantor is financially responsible and liable for the terms of the lease and rental installments.

Do you have a roommate matching service?

Yes, they do. Part of the application packet is a Roommate Matching Form that you will be required to complete. This form will ask you questions about your social habits, study habits, and per preferences to help us match you with residents that indicate similar preferences. Please be honest on your Roommate Matching Form.

Can I request specific roommates or units?

Yes, you can list your preferred roommates on the Roommate Matching Form with your application. All roommates must list each other for us to confirm that all requests are mutual. You can list your floorplan preference on your application and they will do our best to place you in a floor plan that meets your requests. All requests are taken in order by the date your lease was signed and is based on availability.

How are maintenance requests handled?

They have an on-site maintenance team during office hours. Maintenance requests can be entered online on our resident portal 24 hours a day and requests can also be made during business hours over the phone or in person. For after-hours, non-life threatening emergencies (such as no heat, no water, refrigerator not working) the maintenance team is on call 24/7.

Is parking available?

Yes, assigned parking in the parking garage is offered for residents only. Parking will be assigned by unit numbers within the garage.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, they allow up to two pets per apartment so bring your furry friends!

How far away is the property from the University of Mississippi campus?

Village Walk is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from campus, approximately 1.1 miles. Additionally, the property is only 0.5 miles away from The Oxford Square where you can enjoy shopping/restaurants and entertainment in under a 10-minute walk or 2-minute car ride.
