No charge if cancelled or amended by 13.00 on the day that is seven days prior to check-in of the first day of the booking. In the event of an amendment, a no-show or a cancellation later than 13.00 on the day that is seven days’ prior to check-in of the first day of the booking, you will be charged in full.

Check in guide

Approximately 2–4 weeks prior to the scheduled move-in date, students will receive check-in instructions via email. This communication will include the steps required to select a check-in date and time slot, complete necessary documentation, and settle any outstanding payments prior to arrival.In case of any questions or queries, please feel free to contact the Amber team, and our team will assist to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Renewal policy

Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Early check in policy

Early check-in requests can be shared in advance with the Amber team. Our team will do a feasibility check to facilitate early check-in requests based on room readiness and availability. Additional charges may apply where applicable.

Quirky, indulgent, and full of character. On Ember Locke’s ground floor, you’ll find EVE x Proper Slice, where the dough is freshly made daily and fermented for 48 hours, delivering authentic New York City-style pizza slices, pasta and whole pies with our crisp crust and signature chew.

Am I able to make a special request?

Light sleeper, and need a quiet room away from the lifts? Want to schedule an extra clean? Or looking for an upgrade to a room that you particularly like? They understand that some of their guests may have specific needs or preferences. If you have a special request, you can make a note of this when booking, and they’ll do their best to facilitate it.

Are children allowed to stay?

Yes, their properties are well-equipped for children. However, all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 18. Cots are available free of charge for children under 3 – if you require one, please note it as a special request when making a reservation.

How do I access the Wi-Fi?

All of their apartments have super-fast, private Wi-Fi. You’ll find your unique Wi-Fi name and password on your Smart TV. They also offer fast Wi-Fi in their communal areas, which you can access via a public Wi-Fi portal.

Are all my bills included in my stay?

Am I able to register a Locke property as my permanent residential address?

Unfortunately, they are unable to let guests register a Locke property as their permanent residential address.

Can I rent your apartments unfurnished?

Their apartments all come fully-furnished, so you'll be able to move in with everything you need from day one. They don't offer any unfurnished apartment rentals.

How do I get to Ember Locke?

From the closest tube station, Earl's Court, exit the station (best exit is Earl's Court Road) and walk north on Earl's Court Road until you reach Cromwell Road. Turn right and you'll find the building on the left hand side of the street.
