Security Deposit Amount: £250. The deposit may initially be used to hold the room or freeze the accommodation price. If the booking process is not completed on time, the deposit may become non-refundable. Once the Confirmation of Enrolment Letter is issued, the deposit is converted into a Security Deposit.
Students may pay their accommodation fees in installments. A maximum of 6 instalments is available. The available installment plan depends on the length of the booking. Students should confirm the available instalment option with their sales agent. Failure to pay any instalment on time may result in: Immediate withdrawal of the instalment plan. The entire outstanding accommodation fee becomes immediately due and payable.
Payments can be made using: Debit Card. Credit Card. Bank Transfer.
A UK guarantor is not required to book accommodation. International students can secure their booking by paying the Security Deposit and the First Instalment. Students should confirm the applicable payment terms for their chosen residence with their sales agent. If a guarantor is provided, they are jointly and severally liable for the student's obligations under the licence agreement.
Room Change Fee: £100 (exclusive of VAT), plus any applicable room price difference. Students are responsible for all bank charges associated with payments and refunds, including intermediary bank charges. Late Check-out Charge: £50 per hour, unless otherwise specified. Interest on overdue payments may be charged at 4% above the Barclays Bank PLC base rate, accruing daily until payment is received.
