The UNT “Centre Place” shuttle bus stops right in front of Redpoint every 6 to 15 minutes when school is in session, 7:15am to 10:15pm Monday to Thursday and 7:15am to 5:15pm on Friday. UNT and TWU are both just minutes away.
Pet policy
Redpoint is a pet-friendly community, with some restrictions. All pets must be registered with management and a pet fee paid; dogs must be kept on leashes when outside.

WHAT IS REDPOINT?
It’s a cottage-style residential community, designed especially with UNT and TWU students in mind – in a great location and at attractive rates. Redpoint features spacious Craftsman-style cottages and row houses with 9-foot ceilings, hardwood-style floors, gourmet kitchens, private bathrooms and more. All in a beautiful neighborhood setting, just minutes from campus.
IS REDPOINT PART OF UNT OR TWU?
Redpoint is a privately owned and professionally managed community.
CAN I LIVE WITH FRIENDS, OR CAN YOU MATCH ME WITH ROOMMATES?
You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.
WHAT ARE PER-PERSON CONTRACTS?
Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Redpoint has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RATE?
Each resident at Redpoint pays a flat rate that includes:
- Complete set of furniture
- Live Ethernet port in each bedroom, plus Wi-Fi in each home
- Washer and dryer in each cottage
- 24-hour on-site management
- Water/sewer and trash disposal
- Community features – pools, fitness center, etc.
- Optional covered parking spaces are also available
ARE PRIVATE BATHROOMS AVAILABLE?
Yes. All cottages at Redpoint feature a private “in-suite” bathroom for each bedroom. Select cottages also feature an additional ½ bath.
ARE THE APARTMENTS FURNISHED?
Yes, all homes include a complete set of custom furniture at no extra charge, including full or queen beds, desks and chairs, leather-style sofa and side chairs, dining set and coffee/side tables. To see a sample a the furniture and other finishes, please visit our model cottage.
HOW BIG ARE THE COTTAGES?
Redpoint homes range from 1,272 square feet (3 bedroom) to 2,362 square feet (5 bedroom).
WHEN DO THE CONTRACTS START AND END?
The standard term is August 22, 2023 to July 29, 2024, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates may be available; please inquire with our staff.
IS A CO-SIGNER OR FINANCIAL GUARANTY REQUIRED?
Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent), or pre-pay the final 2 installments.
CAN I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?WILL MY FINANCIAL AID COVER CHARGES AT REDPOINT?
Your living costs at Redpoint can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Redpoint. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.
IS REDPOINT OPEN TO NON-STUDENTS?
Most of the residents at Redpoint are students at UNT. The per person contracts are also designed with students in mind; nonetheless, Redpoint is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Family members are welcome as well, subject to occupancy limits. Because of the need to match student cottage-mates, non-students must apply together with enough cottage-mates to fill the desired home.
WHAT KIND OF SAFETY AND SECURITY ARE PROVIDED?
Redpoint offers electronic controlled access to each home, plus locking bedroom doors. Each home offers a security system; monitoring can be arranged by residents. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times, plus security cameras are located in numerous areas. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.
WHAT ARE THE POLICIES ON PETS, SMOKING AND GUESTS?
Redpoint is a pet-friendly community, with some restrictions. All pets must be registered with management and a pet fee paid; dogs must be kept on leashes when outside. All indoor areas at Redpoint are smoke-free. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of cottage-mates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests. Guest parking is limited.
CAN I PARK MY VEHICLE AT REDPOINT?
Redpoint offers free parking for all residents, with optional reserved covered parking available. Limited free guest parking is available as well.
