    Frequently Asked Questions

    When is the reception open?

It is open 24 hours. They also have security cameras and controls.
Unlike the reception, the terrace has closed hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and the dining room from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

    Can I smoke?

Smoking is only allowed in designated places.

Can I stick photos and more on the walls?

You will have a magnetized area above the bed in the room where you can stick everything you want with magnets. They ask you not to use glue or tape to stick things, as they damage the wall and the deposit may be affected if they see any damage when you leave.

And if I get sick, what do I do?

At Xior Collblanc they do not have a resident doctor nor can they provide you with any medication. For this reason, they advise you to assign yourself a Social Security doctor in Barcelona with a resident certificate that they will give you.
Another option is to go to a private doctor who comes to visit you at the residence.
If you already have a private medical policy, you can call your company doctor and make the consultation over the phone or through a visit to the residence.
Lastly, if you have any illness or intolerance, they would need you to give them that information so they can help you and inform the dining room so that you do not eat anything you shouldn't.

    Can I receive visitors?

Of course. They have visiting hours from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. When you have visitors, they must register at the reception upon arrival and notify them when they leave. They can use the common facilities only if they are with you in the residence.

What do I bring from home?

They advise you to bring: a network cable, first aid kit, hangers (they will give you 8), personal hygiene products... And the desire to study and spend an unforgettable year!
They will give you the bedding and towels, and they will be washed once a week. You have an iron for clothes in the laundry room.

    I have internet?

Of course, you have WIFI throughout the building.

I have something broken in the room, what do I do?

The maintenance staff will take care of repairing it. If the object has been damaged due to misuse or inappropriate use, the repair costs will be at your expense.

I have to go on a trip and I won't be at the residence for a few days, should I notify?

In this case, they would appreciate it if you let them know so that they are up to date.

    Can I bring my pet?

    You cannot bring your pet.
