Cancellation Policies

Cooling Off Period

The Tenant has a 3 day ‘cooling-off’ period. The Tenant may cancel their contract by giving written notice to property management that the tenant wishes to cancel. Notice must reach property management. (i) by the end of the 3rd working day after the day  confirms to the Tenant that their accommodation booking process has concluded or (ii) before the first day of the Period of Stay, whichever is the sooner. For example, if property management notified the Tenant on Tuesday, 10th May that

Replacement Tenant Accepted

If the Tenant does not validly cancel their contract under above clause, the Tenant must pay the Accommodation Fees in full for the Period of Stay unless and until all of the following conditions are met: (a) replacement occupier, reasonably acceptable to property management, agrees to take the Accommodation for the remainder of the Period of Stay (property management will use reasonable endeavours to help the Tenant find a replacement, but cannot guarantee that a replacement will be available)

Room allocation

Students can indicate specific room number or location preferences during the booking process, and the Amber team will accommodate these preferences wherever possible, based on availability.

Check in guide

Approximately 2–4 weeks prior to the scheduled move-in date, students will receive check-in instructions via email. This communication will include the steps required to select a check-in date and time slot, complete necessary documentation, and settle any outstanding payments prior to arrival.In case of any questions or queries, please feel free to contact the Amber team, and our team will assist to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Renewal policy

Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Early check in policy

Early check-in requests can be shared in advance with the Amber team. Our team will do a feasibility check to facilitate early check-in requests based on room readiness and availability. Additional charges may apply where applicable.

What is the minimum contract period?

Student Luxe offer flexible contracts that are catered to student term times, and our minimum contract length is 3 months

Do I need a UK guarantor?

They do not require UK guarantors. They appreciate that many of our students may not be from the UK, so offer monthly or termly payments for all students.

Is bedding provided?

Bedding is provided, yes. If you would like to bring your own let us know and they can make special arrangements.

What expenses are NOT included?

While all bills are included in our weekly rates, other expenses like travel, food, tuition, airport transfers etc are not.

Can I have a cleaner?

Included in our weekly rates are weekly cleans. This includes fresh linen for the bedroom, towels for the bathroom, etc.

Is there an extra charge for Dual Occupancy?

Student Luxe offers free dual occupancy on all apartments.

Are kitchen utensils provided?

All of our apartments have fully-equipped kitchens with all the necessary pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, etc that you might need.

Can I have friends or family stay over?

Yes, absolutely, the apartment is yours for the period of your contract. Friends and family can visit and make use of the sofa beds provided.
