À propos de la résidence /le logement

The Canal House is designed for people who want to live in the middle of New York’s energy without giving up everyday comfort. Set at 174 Canal Street, it offers a practical, welcoming base in one of downtown Manhattan’s most connected and culturally rich areas.

The house is fully furnished, making the move-in process simple from day one. Your room is ready for living, working, resting, and settling into the city at your own pace — without the extra time and expense of furnishing a new place.

Canal Street places you between several of New York’s most iconic neighborhoods. Chinatown is right outside your door, with its local food spots, markets, bakeries, and busy street life. SoHo, Little Italy, Nolita, the Lower East Side, and Tribeca are all nearby, giving you easy access to shopping, galleries, cafés, nightlife, and countless places to explore.

The location is also ideal for getting around. Multiple subway lines are within walking distance, making it easy to commute to Midtown, Brooklyn, Williamsburg, the Financial District, or wherever your day takes you. When you want a quieter moment, downtown parks and the waterfront are close enough for a walk, a run, or a break from the city rhythm.

At The Canal House, you are not just renting a room — you are living in a part of New York where every block has its own story. It is a place to come home to, recharge, and experience the city from the center of it all.
