Frequently Asked Questions

Who is living at property?

Their members come from all over the world and have a big range of professions. Most members are between 25-35 yrs old, but they believe that age is just a number. They love diversity and promote environments where you will get to meet people from different backgrounds and broaden your horizon.

What furniture can I expect?

All their apartments and rooms are fully furnished, equipped and decorated to be completely ready for you to move in and immediately feel at home. In their living rooms, you can expect a cosy lounge area with a TV to hang out together and watch films. The dining areas are set up to enjoy dinners and the kitchens are fully equipped with any type of equipment you need. They also try to provide as many standard accessories as possible, so you don't have to worry or bring anything when you move in. From kitchen appliances to utensils, cutlery, vases, mixers, toast machines, plates, pans, cups, hairdryers, steam irons, and more. The private rooms come fully furnished and decorated as well. There will always be a comfortable bed including a duvet and pillows and plenty of storage space for your personal belongings. Almost all of their rooms have a desk with a desk chair (if the room did not fit a desk, this will be mentioned on their website). Furthermore, they make sure that the room is ready to move in by decorating it with lighting, rugs and art.

Can I see the room before I move in?

They would love to show you their homes, but they also want to provide privacy to their current members. That's why don't offer viewings. Instead, they provide detailed pictures of their apartments and rooms, as well as 3D floor plans on their website, so you can get a good idea of what the apartment is like. If you have any specific questions or if anything is not clear, they would be happy to answer your question via email or on a call. They can guarantee a super high-quality standard across all their apartments. Their apartments are carefully selected and furnished with high-quality design furniture in the same beautiful Nordic style.

How does property foster the community?

The main purpose of the property community is to make it possible for people—regardless of background—to feel comfortable and at home with their housemates, and have the opportunity to build long-lasting, authentic relationships.
To allow members the opportunity to get to know their housemates and expand their networks, property sponsors activities. One way this is done is by way of the property-sponsored welcome dinner: each time a new member moves in, property sponsors a dinner for all housemates to get to know one another. They then hope to see their members come together and join the various other events hosted throughout the year by either property or other members!
As a property member, you will also get exclusive access to their online community via the member app. In the app, you have the possibility to join or start an interest group and get in contact with other members in your own city and across all other cities in which property is present.

What else can I find in the property member app?

The property member app offers various features that enable the community to engage with each other, as well as the property team. Among other things, the property app offers you the ability to find/comment/like and create events hosted by property and other members. It also offers the ability to talk to your housemates in your house group. Most importantly, the property app facilitates communication between members and the property team - be it updates from their operations team, or reaching out to them via the chat to suggest any feedback you may have for them.

Do you have family friendly homes?

Unfortunately, their apartments are currently not suitable for families with kids.

Are pets allowed?

They LOVE pets, but unfortunately, they don't have any animal-friendly apartments available at the moment.

What about inviting friends over for dinner?

You are welcome to invite friends over for lunch, dinner, etc. as long as your housemates are okay with it. Just give others a heads-up and be mindful of the noise. You can always take the fun to a general area with closed doors or take it to the bar.

Can my partner/friend/family visit and stay over?

Their apartments are your home, so you can definitely have guests come over as long as everyone in the home is fine with it and you follow their guest policy.

Can I move between different property apartments?

Yes, you have the possibility to move to another apartment and you will always get the first pick on any available room or apartment. The flexibility of living is one of the things they strive for here at property. Please be aware that some local regulations and policies might apply. Just ask their team about this if you want to know more.
