How do I qualify for SMART housing at Rise at West campus?

To receive SMART housing at Rise at West Campus, you must either be the recipient of need-based financial aid or fall within the low-to-moderate income bracket. Once you qualify, you must provide Rise with documentation either by sending a screenshot of your need-based financial aid on your UT Direct CASH page OR submitting a copy of one of the following documents if you qualify based on income: 

• W2 

• 1040 

• A letter from an employer 

• Three pay stubs 

After they have verified your documents, they’ll generate your SMART lease and send it to you for signature.

Where does my mail go?

Each unit at our apartments in West Campus has its own mailbox in the mailroom. All mail for the entire unit will be delivered there. If a package doesn’t fit in the mailbox, it will be delivered to their leasing office.

Where do I pay my rent?

They make things easy with their online Resident Portal. Paying rent is done completely online and can even be automated. When you become a resident, you’ll create an account to access your Resident Portal, where you’ll see an option in the dashboard to pay your rent each month.

How do I make a maintenance request?

The Resident Portal is where you can also go to submit maintenance requests. You can see a log of the maintenance requests you’ve submitted and the status of each. You can navigate to the maintenance tab in the portal, or you can simply press the “Submit Maintenance Request” button on the homepage of the dashboard.
