Early termination by students
Residents terminating their lease early must pay a cancellation fee equivalent to four weeks’ rent, a $130 departure cleaning fee, and forfeit their $1,000 bond. Rent remains payable up to and including the departure date. Online booking cancellations must be submitted in writing by email, and a cancellation penalty may apply as specified in the Letter of Offer.

Upon arrival, the property prepares a Condition Report recording the general condition of the property, including fixtures and fittings. They should keep a copy until the end of the tenancy.The report can serve as evidence in disputes concerning cleaning, damage or missing items. Taking photos at the start of the tenancy may also help document the property's condition.
