Located between Kentish Town and Camden, Londonist Kentish Town Residence is a vibrant student accommodation in London. They offer a range of comfy studio accommodations to choose from and you will reach Royal Veterinary College and London Metropolitan University in less than a 30-minute commute.

Features

The premium studio comes with a private bedroom with two bunk beds for overnight visitors, a bathroom, and a kitchen with lots of storage. From socializing in the common area to exercising at the on-site gym, students will always have something to do. Or you can have movie plans with your mates in the cinema room and most importantly they have a disco too! You’ll have access to free high-speed WiFi, laundry facilities and a wheelchair.

Location and What's Hot?

With its abundance of stores, fantastic restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, and food and vintage markets, Camden Town has a lot to offer. Additionally, a canal is close to the residence where students can take a leisurely stroll after class. However, Primrose Hill and Regent's Park are two great parks that are about 15 minutes apart by foot, so there are other options besides the canal for a pleasant stroll. The Oxford Tavern and Lady Hamilton are the closest pubs where you can spend your memorable evenings.

Cancellation Policies

Cooling Off Period

If your check-in period is more than 6 weeks away, you can cancel and only be liable for the deposit and bedding and service fee. For check-ins with less than 6 weeks left, you’ll be liable to pay a 6-week cancellation fee, deposit, and bedding and service fee. There is no Cooling-Off period.

No Visa No Pay

You'll be subject to the standard cancellation policy for bookings if the refusal is less than 6 weeks before the start date. If your check-in date is more than 6 weeks away, please send the property management the embassy letter of rejection within 7 days of when you initially received it. You will be liable to pay the deposit upon receipt, and the remainder will be refunded. Failure to send the visa refusal letter within 7 days will make your booking subject to the standard cancellation policy

Replacement Tenant Accepted

If you have already checked into the property, you will still be liable for the total amount to end your Licence Agreement. If you still have more than 12 weeks left on your licence, you may be able to find a replacement tenant to take over your room. There will be a £100 fee to process this.

Room allocation

Students can indicate specific room number or location preferences during the booking process, and the Amber team will accommodate these preferences wherever possible, based on availability.

Check in guide

Approximately 2–4 weeks prior to the scheduled move-in date, students will receive check-in instructions via email. This communication will include the steps required to select a check-in date and time slot, complete necessary documentation, and settle any outstanding payments prior to arrival.In case of any questions or queries, please feel free to contact the Amber team, and our team will assist to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Renewal policy

Students who wish to extend their stay can contact the Amber team for renewal or rebooking at the same accommodation. Our team will support the renewal process and help students secure a suitable room of their choice. Students are encouraged to reach out early to ensure they can rebook the same room or another room of their choice at the same property.

Early check in policy

Early check-in requests can be shared in advance with the Amber team. Our team will do a feasibility check to facilitate early check-in requests based on room readiness and availability. Additional charges may apply where applicable.

Payment and Fees

Booking Deposit

1. You'll have to Pay a Deposit of £250 to secure your room. 2. The deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your tenancy period less any damages and pending charges. 3. The deposit is Non-Refundable in case you cancel your booking.

Pay In Instalment

1. You can pay the rent on an installment’s basis depending on the length of your booking. 2. The property is offering maximum 6 installments, please check with your amber agent to know more.

Mode Of Payment

Payments can be made through debit/credit cards and bank transfer only.

Guarantor Requirement

The property does not require you to provide a guarantor.
