Founded in 1848, London Metropolitan University (LMU), also known as London Met is London's oldest educational institution.The University of North London and London Guildhall University merged to create the University in the year 2002. London Met University has invested in its facilities and owns state-of-the-art research centres as well. London Met University offers about 160-degree courses to approx. 12,145 students. The University has also been ranked 9th for diversity among the universities in the USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand. According to the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey, 2016-17- 96.7% of University's graduates are either studying further or working within six months. The University is comprised of six schools providing students with a range of courses and access to abound facilities, best learning experience and first-class teaching staff. The six schools are:

Location

The main university campus is located in Holloway, in North London. The campus is in proximity  to the famous Emirates Stadium, home to the renowned Arsenal FC, and is also a few minutes away from Central London if traveled by tube. The facilities of Science, Computing, Social Sciences and Humanities are offered on this campus and students will experience one of the largest science teaching labs in the entire Europe, broadcast studio and journalism rooms which are based within the campus itself. There are two other campuses situated in the city of London namely The Aldgate campus and the Moorgate campus. Aldgate houses the Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design- which is ranked fourth for art in the UK according to The Guardian's University League Tables 2019. The which campus is located in trendy east London. It has 3D workshops, media workshops, print and textile workshops and facilities. Business and management students are based at Moorgate campus.
