Complete with a pool table, flat screen TV and private study areas, the huge Arbury Court common room is always a hub of activity, whether residents are winding down or swotting up. Like to get the pulse racing? The onsite gym has everything you need, however you like to work out.

Right outside the building, you can catch their free shuttle bus to Kingston University each day. If youre looking to venture further afield, the 131 bus heads to Wimbledon, while the 133 night bus takes you all the way to and from Trafalgar Square.

What do I need to bring with me when I arrive?

On the day you move in, youll need to bring along kitchen items, bedding, clothing and any personal items to make you feel at home. Be sure to bring some form of ID with you, too.

Is there somewhere to park when I arrive?

Yes, the roads nearby to the property are free of charge up to a maximum of two hours, so you can drop off your things in front of the residence.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Please head straight to reception: Arbury Court, 171- 173 Kingston Road, KT3 3SS.

Someone from our friendly team will be waiting to meet you with further information and your key fob. If youll be arriving out of hours, be sure to let us know in advance so we can plan for your arrival.

Do I have to be a student to live here?

To live here you must be a student, enrolled in a college or university, and be 18 years or older at the time of check-in.

Do I need to have a UK guarantor?

We only require a UK guarantor if youve requested to pay in instalments. Without one, the full amount of your rent has to be paid in August.

What happens if I dont pay my rent?

In some cases, legal action will be taken in order to recoup the amount.

Is there a Booking Fee?

Yes, it is 250.

What do I do if something isnt working in my apartment?

However small the problem, be sure to contact reception and fill in a quick repair form, and our facilities will get right to it.

Can I receive post?

Sure, all of this propertys residents have their own letterbox and will be given a key to check their post at any time. If you have a parcel delivered, reception will look after it, just be sure to bring your ID with you upon collection.

Is there somewhere to keep my bike?

Absolutely, theres lots of secure bike storage areas for you to use.

What will I need to do before I move out of my room?

Pack up all your belongings and give the room a clean itd be lovely if you left in the same condition as you found it. Once thats done, hand over your fob and post box key, say your goodbyes, and be sure to have a great summer.

Will I be sharing a room?

All of our rooms are single occupancy, with an en-suite shower room unless youre staying in a studio room to share with a friend.

Who is responsible for cleaning my apartment?

Its up to you and your housemates to keep things clean and tidy while youre here.

Or, alternatively, you can share the cost for a cleaner, who will take care of everything for you. Note: Bin collections are included as part of your rent.

Who cleans the communal areas?

The aparto team will be on hand to clean these parts of the flat, but wed appreciate any effort on your part to look after them.

Where can I smoke?

Arbury Court operates a strict no smoking policy in its buildings and grounds, but youre welcome to smoke outside of the building off-site.
Can I choose what floor I live on?

Yep, its entirely up to you just let us know what youd prefer at the time of booking.

Can family and friends visit?

Friends and family are welcome to visit Arbury Court throughout your studies, and we allow one guest to stay in your room with you 3 nights a week. However, you must be present the entire time theyre here, and sign them in on arrival.

Who is responsible for a guest while theyre on the premises?

During their visit, you are responsible for your guest they must be signed in/out and follow all aparto regulations while theyre here.

Can we have a party?

Go for it, but please consider your fellow residents living in the building, and give the apartment a clean once youre finished.

Do I have Wi-Fi?

Indeed, it will. With our standard package you will get free up to 70MB/s high-speed broadband and Wi-Fi connection throughout the building, including bedrooms; however, this fluctuates in usage. If youre looking for an even speedier and more stable service, you can use our ethernet connection available in your room.

You can connect up to 3 devices, so its perfect for browsing Instagram, watching your favourite Netflix series and studying of course!

The Internet is provided by our reliable partner, Ask4 and they give you the option to upgrade your bandwidth package for a small fee, if you need extra speed for those gaming nights.

Is a TV provided?

Youll find a TV in the cluster kitchens as well as one in your communal lounge area. We dont provide a TV Licence, so residents will be responsible for splitting this annual charge among housemates.

Likewise, a TV is not provided in our studio rooms, but feel free to bring one along with you just make sure you have a TV Licence sorted when its set up.

What kitchen equipment is supplied?

A toaster, kettle, hob, oven/microwave, as well as a fridge/freezer and plenty of storage, are all included. Residents will also be supplied with a vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, iron and ironing board.

Youll have to bring your own utensils, dishes, pots/pans and other small appliances though, as we dont supply these.

Can I keep a fridge in my room?

Sorry, unless its for storing prescribed medication, we dont allow you to keep fridges in your own room.

What about bedding?

Theres no substitute for your favourite duvet or that extra comfy pillow so be sure to bring your own bedding with you. Our rooms have a 4ft bed, so double bedding will do the trick.

How do the laundry facilities work?

Youll top up a laundry card or sign up to an app with your PayPal account that you can then use to operate our washers and dryers.

Can I personalise my room?

Yeah, of course. Its your room, so make yourself at home! But be sure to return the room to us in good condition, as you may be charged for any damages you incurred through term time.

Can I pay my rent monthly?

Rent is usually paid through 3 instalments over the year, but feel free to talk to your Accommodation Manager, as you may be able to pay by other means depending on your circumstances.

Can I stay in my room over Easter/Christmas breaks, etc?

You can your room is yours to stay in from the start of the tenancy agreement.

Can I move in before my tenancy starts?

Sorry, this isnt possible right now.

Can I change my tenancy dates to work around my University start and end dates?

Once the dates of your tenancy are set, they cannot be change.
