What happens if I’ve already booked my room, but my visa has been denied or I’ve not been granted a place at university?

If you have not obtained the necessary visa or you have been denied a place at the university, Property will cancel your reservation free of charge, but you will need to provide them with proof of this. In the case of the visa, proof that the visa has been denied and in the case of the denied spot, you will have to prove that you are going to study in another province other than the province of the residence where you had the reservation.
These conditions apply to cancellations that occur before the contract has started; in no case can people who want to cancel and have already started their contract with management take advantage of these conditions.

How far in advance do I need to book my room?

The best thing to do is to make your reservation as soon as possible so that you can choose the room category you want. They don’t have a month limit for you to make your reservation, you can make it when it suits you best. But keep in mind that prices are subject to change, so be careful not to miss out!

What documents do I need to check-in?

You will need the following documents:
– A personal identification document: ID card or passport. If you are under 18 years old, your guardian or parent must also bring their ID card or passport.
– A visa in case you need to live in Spain.
– A letter of confirmation of enrollment or acceptance from the university or school you will be attending. At check-in they will ask you for proof of payment of tuition fees.

Do I get a discount if I pay for my entire stay upfront?

They give a 2% discount on the monthly rent for stays equal to or longer than 5 months if these are paid upfront.

Will my deposit be returned? How will it be returned?

The deposit is used as a guarantee to cover any expenses for loss or damage that may be incurred regarding the room, common areas, furnishings or residence in general (except for normal wear and tear). It may also be used to cover any other breach of contractual obligations involving damage or non-payment.
The amount of the deposit, less any reasonable costs incurred by breaching any of your contractual obligations, will be returned to you as soon as reasonably possible by the same method with which it was paid. If you’re aged 16 or older, you can stay with management. If you’re still a minor, your parents or legal guardians must sign your housing contract.

All prices quoted are per person per month.

Is there a specific arrival day/time?

Yes, check-in is done on the day the contract starts between 12:00 and 15:00. And check-out is between 10 am and 12 noon. They recommend that as soon as you have made your reservation and they have provided you with the details of the residence, you contact them to arrange everything so that they can be waiting for you upon your arrival.

Yes! Their Community Life team is in charge of arranging events, activities and parties at the residence. They’re perfect for having fun and meeting new people.

Who can live at these residences?

Management’s student residences are for students and other academics, such as professors and researchers.
If you’re a minor, your parents or legal guardian will make the booking for you; and therefore, the resident’s name will appear together with the name of a parent or legal guardian.

Can I receive visitors or have overnight guests?

Yes, they welcome visits from your friends or family.
For visits during the day you can invite whoever you want as many times as you want, two guests at a time.
During the night, you can invite one person to stay overnight in the residence, the first three nights are free, from the fourth to the tenth night there is an extra charge of between 20€ and 30€ per night. Please note that you have to notify the reception at least 24 hours in advance.
For shared rooms, there is no possibility to invite third parties to spend the night.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, the terms of their accommodation contracts do not permit animals.

Can I smoke in the room?

Smoking is not allowed inside the building – you cannot smoke in the common areas nor in the rooms. The residences have designated outdoor areas where you can smoke.

They have a maintenance team that will be able to fix all problems. You have to notify them on the resident’s portal so that management can be aware of it and allow the maintenance staff to enter your room.

You can send any parcels you want to the residence, except for groceries or perishable food. For these, you will need to pick them up in person.

Will I have WiFi?
