Cancellation before 8:00 PM EST on the day before move-in: prepaid dues and move-in fee are refunded, minus a $100 cancellation fee; $25 of this fee goes to the Host.Cancellation after 8:00 PM EST on the day before move-in: the first week of dues is non-refundable. Additional dues paid beyond the first 7 days are refunded; the move-in fee is non-refundable. University Course Cancellation/Modification

If your course has been cancelled by your university, please reach out to the Amber team with the relevant supporting documentation. We will liaise with the property team to review your request on a case-by-case basis for cancellation. The resolution will be subject to the property's assessment and the terms of your booking.

Delayed Arrivals & travel restrictions

If you are unable to travel due to government-imposed travel restrictions, please contact the Amber team with the relevant supporting documentation. We will facilitate the request to review your circumstances and explore the possibility of cancellation/contract amendment. Requests are considered individually, and any outcome will depend on the property's review and applicable booking terms.

Deferring Studies

If you have deferred your studies, please contact the Amber team and share your updated university documentation. We will notify the property team to review your request for cancellation/contract amendment. Requests are assessed individually, and the final outcome will be subject to the property's review and booking terms.

Early termination by students

PadSplit requires a 12-week minimum stay; moving out early may result in a penalty.Members may transfer to another PadSplit property without a penalty.If a Member does not move in, they must cancel through the Member Dashboard, transfer to another home, or schedule a move-out date. Otherwise, the original booking’s billing cycle continues.
