Redpoint features a variety of spacious, furnished cottages plus a full set of community features such as a resort-style pool, impressive clubhouse, 24-hour fitness center, study and game lounges, and much more. All just minutes from campus.

IS REDPOINT PART OF TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY?

Redpoint is a privately owned and professionally managed community.

CAN I LIVE WITH FRIENDS, OR CAN YOU MATCH ME WITH ROOMMATES?

You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

WHAT ARE PER-PERSON CONTRACTS?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Redpoint has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RATE?

Each resident at Redpoint pays a flat rate that includes:
  • Furniture package (optional charge)
  • In-unit laundry
  • High-speed internet
  • Community features – pool, fitness center, etc.

WHAT SIZE ARE THE COTTAGES?

The spacious accommodations at Redpoint are available in 2,3,4, 5 and 6 bedroom apartments, with a private bedroom-bathroom suite for each resident. Select cottages also feature an additional½bath.

ARE THE HOMES FURNISHED?

Redpoint offers an optional furniture package for an additional cost. The furniture package includes a queen-size bed, desk and chair, dresser and nightstand in each bedroom; the living area includes a sofa, coffee table, TV and entertainment stand, and the kitchen includes a dining table, chairs and barstools.

WHEN DO THE CONTRACTS START AND END?

The standard term is August 19, 2023 to July 29, 2024, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Other alternate dates are available; please inquire with our staff.

IS A CO-SIGNER OR FINANCIAL GUARANTY REQUIRED?

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent), or pre-pay the final 2 installments.

CAN I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Redpoint also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

WILL MY FINANCIAL AID COVER CHARGES AT REDPOINT?

Your living costs at Redpoint can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Redpoint. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

IS REDPOINT OPEN TO NON-STUDENTS?

Nearly all the residents at Redpoint are students at Texas A&M University or Blinn College. The per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Nonetheless, Redpoint is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Family members are welcome as well, subject to occupancy limits. Because of the need to match student roommates, non-students must apply together with enough roommates to fill the desired residence.

WHAT KIND OF SAFETY AND SECURITY ARE PROVIDED?

Homes at Redpoint come with an electronic key system and individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are also provided at select times. Management staff are available 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

WHAT ARE THE POLICIES ON PETS, SMOKING AND GUESTS?

Redpoint is a pet-friendly community, subject to limits on animals and breeds. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent spaces. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

CAN I PARK MY VEHICLE AT REDPOINT?

Redpoint offers free on-site parking for residents and guests. Reserved covered parking is also available for an additional cost.

WHAT OTHER TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS WILL I HAVE?

The Aggie Spirit shuttle bus stops right across Redpoint’s front entrance and makes multiple stops on the TAMU campus, running every 15 minutes on weekdays, from 7am to midnight when school is in session.

CAN I SEE A MODEL APARTMENT?

Yes. Please request an appointment for a personal tour, or just stop by to see us and we’ll be happy to show you the community.
