What are per-person contracts?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Redpoint has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your home are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

What is included in the rate?

Each resident at Redpoint pays a flat rate that includes: Complete set of furniture High-Speed Internet Washer and dryer in each home On-site management Trash disposal Community features – pools, fitness center, etc.

Are the homes furnished?

Yes, all homes include a complete set of custom furniture at no extra charge, including full or queen beds, desks and chairs, leather-style sofa and side chairs, dining set and coffee/side tables. To see a sample of the furniture and other finishes, please check out their virtual tour.

Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?

Each resident must pay an administrative fee for each contract year. This fee is reduced significantly if the resident provides a qualifying guarantor (often a parent) for their financial obligations under Housing Agreement.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Redpoint also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Will my financial aid cover charges at Redpoint?

Your living costs at Redpoint can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Redpoint. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Is Redpoint open to non-students?

Nearly all the residents at Redpoint West Tenn are students at Florida State University and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Redpoint West Tenn is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students and residents with children, at no extra cost other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. In order to match roommates in shared apartments with college students, roommate consent is required for any occupant who is not a college student.

What kind of safety and security are provided?

Redpoint offers controlled access to each home and bedroom with a secure electronic key system. Community courtesy patrols are also provided at select times. Management staff are also on-site and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?

Redpoint is pet-friendly, subject to limits on animals and breed. The community is smoke-free in all indoor areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Can I park my vehicle at Redpoint?

Redpoint offers ample parking for residents. Limited guest parking is also available – please inquire.

What other transportation options will I have?

The FSU shuttle bus stops right near Redpoint every 15 minutes when school is in session, 7:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday during fall and spring and 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday during the summer semester.
