Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose who my flatmates are?

You can choose to live with your friends by selecting the same flat number or double room when you book with them. Please note, this is subject to availability, so it’s best to book early to avoid disappointment!

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, and the deposit pays part toward the Damage Deposit when due. This reservation deposit is refundable up until a date set out in the contract sent to you.

Do you provide female only accommodation?

Yes, if you prefer to have a single gender flat or double room, just speak to their residence support team when you book with them. This is subject to demand and flat availability so they’d recommend getting in touch as early as you can.

What is a guarantor and why do I need one?

A guarantor is someone who agrees to pay your rent if you’re unable to, for example one of your parents or a close relative. If you’re unable to meet rent payments please speak to your support team, they’ll only contact your guarantor to pay rent as a last resort if you cannot meet the agreement of your tenancy.

What do I do if I’m an international student and don’t have a guarantor?

If you’re an international student and would like to pay your rent in instalments, you’ll need a Spain based guarantor. If this isn’t possible, you can still book a room, but you’ll have to pay your rent in an upfront annual sum instead.

To live with them whilst studying at University, you will need to be 18 or older.

Can I personalise my room?

As long as you are able to return it to its original state on check-out or you will be recharged for any damages. Check out their blog for ideas of how you can personalise your room without nails, glue or leaving marks on the wall.
