An application fee is required as a reservation fee during the online booking process. The application fee is non-refundable except in the cancellation and refund cases specified in the accommodation contract and the booking conditions. A further payment, referred to as the guarantee deposit/security deposit, must be made before the accommodation contract is signed. The deposit amount varies depending on the length of the stay. The deposit is used to cover possible repair costs for damage to facilities/materials attributable to the resident and to guarantee compliance with the resident’s obligations.

Any applicable expenses will be deducted from the deposit before refund. The remaining deposit will be returned within the deadlines specified in the accommodation contract. The deposit is refundable in specified circumstances, including non-admission to the University/Study Centre, failure of the Baccalaureate/EvAU, visa refusal, lack of available rooms, justified departure from the University, and expiry of the accommodation contract subject to the stated conditions.
Single payment: The entire stay is paid in one payment. Monthly payment: Payments are made monthly, with a receipt issued during the first 5 days of each month. The single-payment option is valid only for full-course stays. A 3% discount on the total stay amount applies to the single-payment option. For single payment, the receipt is issued during the first 5 days of the month in which the contract starts.
Payments must be made by direct debit from an account in the SEPA Zone. If the student does not have a SEPA-zone bank account, payment can be made by credit card. Alternatively, a non-SEPA bank account can be provided, but the student is responsible for the applicable bank charges. The application fee can be paid through the online payment gateway or, where unavailable, by bank transfer.
A second signatory is required for the accommodation contract if the student is of legal age at the time of booking. If the student is a minor, the father, mother, or legal guardian must accept and sign the booking and contracting process and act as the payer and second signatory. The guarantor or legal guardian receives an email notification to complete and sign the accommodation contract.
A minimum departure cleaning charge of €60 applies and will be deducted from the security deposit at the end of the accommodation contract. The final departure cleaning charge may be higher depending on the condition of the room.
